Unit 5: Let’s count and measure
This unit discusses numbers and measurements, and student
are going to learn how to measure things, tell the time and
learn how to read and discuss stories.
Unit 6: Bugs: Fact and fiction
This unit discusses some facts about insects, compare and
contrast between them and how to answer questions about the
topic.
Unit 7: Our green earth
This unit discusses information about environment and trees
and their importance and how to protect them.
Key Objectives
• Counting numbers to 100.
• Say the time by looking at the clock.
• Measuring things and say how long something is.
• Learn how to read and discuss a story.
• Recognize words that have same sounds, like one/won
and two/too.
• Speak and discuss about insects.
• Compare and contrast different insects.
• Learn how to read and write words with a long e sound.
• Find rhyming words (long e).
• Ask and answer some questions about insects.
• Read and discuss about an information text
• Discuss about trees and their importance.
• Speak about plants, fruit and vegetables.
• Identify long o spellings and different sounds of ow/ou.
• Write rules and promises.
• Discuss a dialogue and learn how to write an
autobiography.
