SEEDS OF PEACE

 What is Seeds of Peace
● Seeds of Peace is a group that teaches and gives youth the knowledge and the
skills they need to help create peace in the world.
● Seeds of Peace was created in 1943 by John Wallach who was originally an
award winning author.
● Seeds of Peace holds camps that gets kids from all around the world and brings
them to a camp and helps them learn what they can do to create peace in the
world
What role does Seeds of Peace play
Seeds of peace plays the role of mentor in how they take in all kids from all around
the world to mentor and teach them how to become better leaders and how to stand
up for what is right.
Seeds of peace also takes on the role of a safe place giving there campers a place of
refuge from the problems that they have to deal with everyday, like the war,
constant fighting, and problems involving rights. At the seeds of peace camps,
campers are in a place where they all are equal and nobody is judged. All campers at
seeds of peace are there to make the world a better place as a whole.
 What are the goals of Seeds of Peace
● The goal of Seeds of Peace is to inspire and teach teens and children of tomorrow
to become leaders in communities and to help stop conflict
● Seeds of Peace does everything they can to equip the students and leaders that
come to their camps with the skill and relationships that can be used to create
peace.
 Will Seeds of Peace have a positive impact
on the outcome of this conflict?
Seeds of Peace will have a positive output because they realize that they could try to
work on peace with things going on right now and try to get people to stop fighting
but that is not as effective as impacting the younger generations and teaching them
what they can do to create peace.
So then when the younger generations grow up they will create peace. They are
getting the solution before the problem effects the younger generations. And l also
think it will have a bigger positive impact because instead of targeting one problem
the give the people the skills to solve problems so they can help resolve more of a
wide spectrum of conflicts.
