LEARNING TARGET: I will learn a variety of words, so I can demonstrate my understanding of
Standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking.

Directions: Look up term in the dictionary and or thesaurus. Copy term and spell correctly.
Write the part of Speech (noun, verb, adjective). Write the definition. Write a sentence using
the term with correct part of speech and underline the term. You can use term in different
tense in order to make sense. For example, acclimation, and acclaimer can all be used for the
word acclaim.
