Interface Groups
Interface groups permit link aggregation. They provide a mechanism to group together multiple network interfaces (links) into a single logical
interface (aggregate). Upon creation of an interface group, it is indistinguishable from a physical network interface. Interface groups offer
the following advantages:

 Higher throughput
 Fault tolerance
 No single point of failure

Storage vLANs
vLANS provide logical network segmentation by creating separate broadcast domains. The offer the following advantages:

 Ease of administration
 Confinement of broadcast domains
 Reduced broadcast traffic
 Security policies enforcement

Data Aggregate Layout
Aggregates combine one or more RAID groups into a pool of disk space that may be utilized to create multiple volumes. SATA and SAS disks
should not be combined into a single aggregate. The maximum 64-bit aggregate size with Data ONTAP 8.2 is 180 TiB.

OnCommand Unified Manager Core Package

The OnCommand Unified Manage Core Package combines a number of capabilities into a single integrated framework. Components include:

 OnCommand Console
 DataFabric Manager
 Operation Manager
 NetApp Management
