Sacheverell and Osbert

My dogs of dignified names
Against you, Coyote –
The one who mortally maims

Scaling eight feet of chain link

To break my heart
My unsuspecting pups
You tore apart

Neither fences nor walls

Keep you at bay
But I am determined
You will not stay

Eyes of yellow glass

Get out of my sight
No matter your hunger
Whatever your plight

In my backyard
You have no place
Dare I say?
I hate your race
