• Bank Transfers: Please Allow 10 working days for Bank Transfer to be completed.
Entry Requirements

Our entry requirements vary from course to course, and depend on whether you are applying to a
Undergraduate or a PostgraduateProgramme.
Each course sets its own entrance requirements, and you will usually be required to attain required
grades, which are listed under the course details. Admissions tutors will be happy to advise you on
international entry requirements for their courses.
Applicants should provide attested copies of their qualifications and translations (from approved
translator) of each document that is not in English.

• For postgraduate courses, you will need a good degree from a UK or international university.
• For most courses you will need a College Approved English language test such as IELTS, or
equivalent, with a score of 4.0 or higher.

Entry on to many programmes is highly competitive; consequently we also consider the skills,
attributes, motivation and potential for success of an individual when deciding whether to make an
offer.

English Language Proficiency Requirement


English Requirement: If a Tier 4 (General) student will be studying a course that is below NQF Level
6 (except a Foundation Degree or an English language course), using a CAS issued on or after 12
August 2010, he/she must be competent in English language at a minimum of level B1 on the
Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR):The student must have passed an English
language test with an approved test provider for Tier 4, and has achieved at least CEFR level B1 in
all four components (reading, writing, speaking and listening). Click here for a list of approved test

Supporting Documents to include with your application


you should include all the documents you can to show that you qualify for entry to the UK as a student.
If you do not, we may refuse your application.

As a guide, you should include:

• any relevant diplomas or educational certificates that you have


• a letter from the university, college or school confirming that you have been accepted on a
course of study and/or a period of research in the UK, and a statement of charges for the course
and/or period of research (if appropriate)
• if you are following a certain type of postgraduate study, an ATAS (Academic Technology
Approval Scheme) Certificate
• evidence of government sponsorship (if appropriate)
• bank statements, pay slips or other evidence to show that you can pay for your stay and your
course of studies in the UK, and
• if you are being privately sponsored (for example, by a college in the UK) a letter from your
sponsor giving details of how they will support you during your studies, and evidence
