Drop Waist Pocket Tee Dress Pattern

Text Only Summary of Instructions:

1. With right sides together, pin front to back at shoulders, sew

2. Finish the neck edge with serger or zig-zag.

3. Turn neck edge 1⁄4” hem, Press and topstitch.

4. Finish bottom edge of sleeve. Press and turn up hem 1⁄4 “ and topstitch.

5. With right sides together, pin sleeves to armhole and sew in place.

6. With right sides together, pin sleeve and side seams and sew.

7. With right sides together pin pocket facing to skirt front as shown, sew and press.

8. Turn pocket facing to wrong side, press and topstitch in place.

9. With right sides together pin pocket to pocket facing and sew.

10. Pin side seams together and sew.

11. Sew a gathering stitch on skirt front and back between dots as shown and gather.

12. With right sides together, pin skirt to bodice and gently ease in gathering to fit. Sew in place.

13. Press seam toward neck edge and topstitch flat.

14. With right sides together, pin back seam to just 1⁄4” below waist seam, and sew.

15. Turn in hem on back edge 1⁄4” for hook and loop tape. Press.

16. Sew hook and loop tape to back opening as shown.

17. Turn hem up on skirt your desired length and topstitch in place.
