Biggest Change in US Life Expectancy
occurred early in 20th Century

ISSSEEM 2015 Conference Dr. Karl Maret 11

Biggest Changes in Health / Life
Expectancy caused by:
• Electricity: Light bulb (1879), Power Station
(1882), Radio-TV, Telephone
Medical Diagnosis (ECG, EEG, etc.)

• Hygiene: Running Water & Indoor Plumbing

• Better Nutrition

• Antibiotics vs. Infectious Diseases (in earlier

times)

Aging and Future Healthcare Costs

• For the first time in history, the number of over-

65s will soon exceed the number of under-5s on
the planet
• With more old people come more disease and
higher health spending (both traditional &
alternative)
• Possibility of more rationing of healthcare

Energy Medicine Classification
1. Veritable Energies
Employ mechanical vibrations (such as
sound) and electromagnetic forces,
including visible light, magnetism, coherent
radiation (lasers), and rays from other parts
of the electromagnetic spectrum.
2. Putative Energies
Affect subtle vital energy fields that
surround, penetrate or flow in the human
body. (called Qi in China, Ki in Japan,
Prana in Ayurvedic medicine). Has not
been unequivocally measured with
conventional instrumentation.

complex and transfers electrons to the cytochrome oxidase complex.
• Cytochrome c through Caspase 9 also initiates (modulates) apoptosis

LLLT accelerates Wound Healing

• Cells in the wound respond to light induced reactive

oxygen species (ROS).
• Leads to the expression of growth factors. This
encourage synthesis of more collagen, increased
formation of blood vessels and less inflammation, all
of which increase wound healing.

• Every cell in our body receives coherent light, stores

coherent light, and emits coherent light. Coherent
light is in-phase between all waves.
• Healthy cells store coherent light in Blue-UV part of
the spectrum. Weak or diseased cells radiate or leak
biophotons as chaotic (non-coherent) light.
• Shortly before its death, a cell will change into a
“supernova”, tremendously increasing its radiation

Cell Protein Signaling occurs
through Bioresonance Processes
• Cell membranes receptor proteins, when
activated, produce both electromagnetic
signaling and structural changes at specific
resonant frequencies.
• Every biochemical reaction is accompanied
by an electromagnetic signal.

• Cells communicate both ways: by

electromagnetic (fast) and biochemical or
molecular (slow) processes.

Healing with Ultrasound
• The benefits of ultrasound are determined by intensity.
• Diagnostic use of ultrasound requires very low
intensities (milliwatts per square cm)
• Therapeutic ultrasonic intensities 1 - 3 W/cm2 have
been reported to reduce joint stiffness, pain, muscle
spasm, improve muscular mobility, and more recently
enhance the growth and healing of bones.
• In 1994, the U.S. FDA approved the marketing of
ultrasounds for the healing of fresh fractures
