INTRODUCTION
This project is based on imparting knowledge and skills regarding physical fitness to mahila
jawans in CRPF.This project are a part of DOT course held at CRPF Academy from
01/05/2018 to 05/05/2018 under guidance of Master Trainers Shri Inder jeet Mittal and Shri
Umesh Chandra joshi.

I am working on this project as I have worked in mahila battalion and have seen the physical
standards as well as lack of motivation in mahila jawans. Being physically fit is demand of
security forces in order to increase efficiency as well as to perform the required field task in a
better way.

I hope this design will help in enhancing knowledge and skill regarding physical fitness to
mahila jawans.

Details of Trainees:

 Project submitted by:

Neetu Mishra

 Title of Project: Training on

imparting knowledge and skills
regarding physical fitness to
mahila jawans

 Organization: Central
Reserve Police Force.(CRPF
Academy Kadarpur)

 Course held at : CRPF

Academy,Kadarpur

 Duration : 5 days
(01/05/2018 to 05/05/2018)
DESIGN BRIEF
CLIENT : DG CRPF

PERFORMANCE PROBLEM: Increase in physical problems

among mahila jawans in CRPF which is affecting their morale and
motivation.

TRAINING NEEDS: There are 5 mahila battalions in CRPF

deployed at different parts of India and they have to work in extreme
conditions like male counterpart. But due to physiological differences
which directly relate to strength, endurance our mahila jawans are
lacking somewhere in physical fitness after certain periods of time which
leads to:

 Decrease performance at ground level

 Low motivation
 More LMC cases
 Ops strength of coy is also affected.
 Affects personal life.
 Difficulty in performing required task

So training is required to minimise all the above factors to certain level

and improve the performance of mahila jawans in field.

CONSTRAINTS: The constraints which this training design may

face are:

1. TIME – The time duration of the course will be 2 days as we

cannot spare the jawans for long duration.
2. TRAINEES – The strength of trainees will be on lower side
AIM: To impart knowledge and skill regarding physical fitness to Mahila
Jawans in CRPF.

BENEFITS :
1. TO ORGANISATION- Being physically fit is directly related to
increased efficiency which will help organization grow.
Also strength of coy will be maintained and LMC cases will reduce.
2. TO INDIVIDUAL- Motivation and morale of individual will be high.
Knowledge related to physical fitness will increase.
Will be able to demonstrate the exercise taught to them during
training.

Transfer of Learning
After completion of the training course, the trainees require the
opportunity to apply their learning in the practical field i.e. Transfer of
Learning is very much essential. Therefore, the following steps may be
undertaken for transfer of learning at the field level.

1. One week course can be run by the trainees at battalion level for
each coy.
2. Records can be maintained at coy level regarding the
improvement in health conditions.
3. Feedback from the mahila jawans may be taken for further
improvement in course.

Performance Assessment
Performance Assessment is very much essential to achieve the
training objectives. For this training course, formative
assessment may be done. By the formative assessment, we can
measure the performance of the trainees through Discussion,
Question & Answer & Quiz during the training period.

Internal Validation: At the end of every training session, the

trainees will be asked questions based on the content & reading
material provided so that the trainer can assess whether the
training objectives have been fulfilled or not.

External Validation: This may be done by taking feedback from

coy commanders as well as unit MO whether the trainees’
performances have improved or not in field or other duties
