2. List any other teaching qualifications you have gained. If you are currently studying, or have
studied, a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) or other teaching related
qualification, make it your next heading. Give the start and completion dates, the name of
the institution and provide an outline of the course. Include its structure, key study areas and
any special projects you have covered.

3. Next move onto your highest level of education. i.e. Masters or BA. Include a summary of
your highest level of education and its main elements. Do not presume that the selectors will
know what it involved. For example, what academic and educational topics did you study? It
is in your own interest to highlight your knowledge base. We advise avoiding overly wordy
explanations. Some degrees have a large number of elements. We suggest you select 3-5
elements that can be related to working overseas, if possible.

4. Follow these details with a listing of Other Qualifications. This should include; Diplomas, A2
and AS levels / GCSEs / AGNVQ's and GNVQ's etc. They should be organized starting with
the most recent first. Listing the type of qualification, and finally the grade attained.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Start with your most recent experience and work backwards.

Employers will be interested in any experience where you have been a mentor or leader. If you
have ever given presentations highlight these experiences of public speaking.

If you have had any directly relevant full-time or vacation work (work with children, voluntary or
community work, TEFL, youth work) then give a few lines of detail and dates.

If you are entering teaching from another profession then again give dates and brief details. It is
important to describe aspects of the job that relate directly to teaching such as; staff training,
presentations, IT, process design and responsibilities. Do not clutter your CV with lists of all your
other vacation jobs and temporary work.

including extra curricular activities, projects, and special activities.
