Go to “Add Targets Manually” page (setup>add target), select “Add Targets Using Guided Process” and

select “Oracle Cluster and High Avaliablity Service”.

Select one of the nodes which is part of the cluster. You don’t need to select all hosts (in fact it doesn’t
let you do multiple-select, and one node is enough.
It’ll discover the other nodes, and show you the findings so you may edit them if required. Click “Next”,
review and then save the cluster. Now we have the cluster information, so we can add our clustered
(RAC) database.

Go to “Add Targets Manually” page again, select “Add Targets Using Guided Process” and select “Oracle
Database, Listener and Automatic Storage Manager”.
Instead of picking one of nodes, now you need to select “cluster” (we previously discovered and added
to EM12c). Click “Next”.
It’ll discover databases and ASM. Click the checkboxes of the discovered objects, enter the required
passwords (of DBSNMP and ASMSNMP users) then click “Next”. You’ll be able to review the result and
add the database to EM12c by clicking “Save”. So we successfully added our RAC Databases(s) to
EM12c.rac
Search job will start immediately. You can click “refresh IP scan results” to refresh the results. When it’s
done we can check the auto discovery results page.
