Dear Sir/Madam:
Good day!
Adams University as an institution that is concerned with the academic needs and welfare of the
community has indeed been generous for providing its students means to get to its colleges
through various holistic programs. One example is the Student Assistantship Program which I
have been a recipient of and has truly helped in sustaining my financial needs in the University.
Being an incoming second year student and throughout my first terms in college working as a
student assistant, I realized that I may need to have more time to study and work on my projects,
assignments and other school requirements as I found it becoming difficult for me to juggle my
responsibilities as a student assistant and as a student. My being a student assistant has indeed
become a stepping stone, or perhaps an avenue, for me to get to college as it has lessened my
financial burden. However, fortunately, my elder brother is now willing to support me financially
so I can continue with my studies and he has asked me if I may resign from student assistantship
and so after much thinking I decided to write this letter to signify my faithful intention to resign
so.
I immensely appreciate the immeasurable help that the University has extended to me through
the student scholarship program.
