NONE

Improvements for Version 065F/E & 165F/E

1 Ping packet with the Precedence bit of TOS field

Contents The controller can now process the Ping packet with the Precedence bit of TOS
field in the microcode.

The change of contents for Version 065F/E & 165F/E

1 Host I/O stopped at local site when subsystem in remote site is shut down
Phenomena When subsystem in remote site of True Copy Basic is shut down, the path
failover of True Copy Basic occurs and path status changes to "Diagnosing"
and the host I/O is stopped for subsystem in local site of True Copy Basic.
Severity Medium
Conditions of Occurrence When all of the following conditions are met, the phenomenon may occur.
1. Program Product True Copy Basic is enabled
2. The pair status of True Copy Basic is "COPY" or "PAIR"
3. Host write command issued to controller without ownership of LU
4. The path failover of True Copy Basic occurs by a failure during the write
operation to the subsystem of the remote site after (3)
5. The path status changes to "Diagnosing" by a failure during the write retry
operation to the subsystem of the remote site after (4)
6. Host write command of (3) aborted by host command time-out at same time
as (5)
7. Host I/O issued to controller which do not have the ownership of the LU
Affected Products/Version Version : All microcode version
Fixed Product/Version Version : x65F/E
Category True Copy Basic
Changed Part MICRO-Disk

2 The counter of "Read Hit (%)" and "Write Hit (%)" over 100
Phenomena The counter of "Read Hit (%)" and "Write Hit (%)" in RG information of
Performance Statistics data may become over 100, if user gets the Performance
Statistics data from Disk Array Management Program, when Program Product
Performance Management - Base Monitor and Program Product LUN
Expansion are enabled. The incorrect counter is "Read Hit (%)", "Write Hit
(%), "Read CMD Hit Count" and "Write CMD Hit Count" in RG information
of Performance Statistics data.
Severity C: Critical Low
Conditions of Occurrence When all of the following conditions are met, the phenomenon may occur.
1. Program Product Performance Management - Base Monitor is enabled
2. Program Product LUN Expansion is enabled
3. Multiple LU can be combined together to create a "Unified LU"
4. The host I/O is issued for a Sub LU in the Unified LU of (3)
5. Sub LU of (4) in different RAID group from Main LU in Unified LU of (3)
6. Host I/O is processed as a cache miss by the subsystem
7. User gets the Performance Statistics data from Disk Array Management
Program
Cause Due to the microcode bug in the addition process for the cache hit counter
when Performance Management - Base Monitor is enabled.
Affected Products/Version Version : All microcode version
Fixed Product/Version Version : x65F/E
Category Performance Monitor
Changed Part MICRO-Disk
