Back on July 10th of 2006, I began to cry out to my Heavenly Father about his
true name. Since there are so many variations of how to spell and pronounce his
name, I was very confused. But it was very important to me to know the correct
way to call upon his name. The first thing that I discovered when I embarked on
this quest was that in our English Bibles, whenever we see the term “LORD” in
all capital letters, this means that his proper name was removed, and instead, a
generic title was put there in its place. The Jewish scribes replaced our Heavenly
Father’s name 7,000 times with a vain title “ADONAI” which simply means
“master.”

Now I am not suggesting that the words “Adonai, lord or master” are improper
titles to apply to our Creator, but they should never be used as a replacement
for his proper name in the scriptures.

The original Hebrew Scriptures actually contain the proper name of our Creator
wherever we see the title LORD in all capital letters. This name consisted of four
Hebrew letters called “The Tetragramaton.”

In Modern Hebrew they are known as: Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey

But in the original Ancient Hebrew, known as “Paleo” these four letters
are: Yod-Hey-Waw-Hey.

Name Waw Vav
Sound w, o, u v
The modern-day Hebrew Letter “vav” at one time was a letter “waw” pronoun-
ced as a long “u” sound when used as a vowel. But it also doubles as a conson-
ant that has the “w” sound. Sometimes, this letter “waw” makes the same blow-
ing sound as in the word “who” as if you are going to “whistle.” Below are a
few resources that show the historic evidence for how the Hebrew letter “waw”
became a “vav” in Modern Hebrew through the Germanic influence.

Pictured below to the right are the four Modern Hebrew Letters that make up
the name of our Heavenly Father, and then you will see the Ancient Paleo Picto-
graph Letters above them as they were written by Moses and the Yisra’elites
about 3,000 years ago and earlier.

One of the most compelling

evidences that the Messiah
came in the Heavenly Father’s
name is seen in the fact that
the acrostic was a “sign”
above his head on the
“stauros” (cross).

The Name of YHWH Written

Over The Cross

Yahuwchanon (John)
19:19 (KJV) reads as follows:

“Now Pilate wrote a title and

put it on the Cross. And the
writing was: JESUS OF
NAZARETH, THE KING OF
THE JEWS.”

Pontius Pilate wrote the words “JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE
JEWS” on a sign. The sign was written in Hebrew, Latin and Greek. There was
probably a very large sign, if not three of them, which could be easily read from
the busy road by the Damascus Gate. Yahuwshuwa Messiah was the “featured
criminal” and was sentenced to death under Roman law for “sedition against
the Roman state”, and under Jewish law for “the sin of blasphemy.” In Hebrew,
the sign read as follows:

“Yahuwshuwa Ha’Nazarei W’Melech Ha’Yahuwdiym”

Above the stauros (cross) was written, in a simple code, YHWH. The name of
the creator was seen in an acrostic above the Messiah’s head! This code was
clearly visible to the Sanhedrin, which is why they asked Pontius Pilate to
change what he had written over the cross, to break the code.

This is recorded in John 19:21-22, “Therefore the chief priests of the Jews said to
Pilate, “Do not write, ‘The King of the Jews,’ but, ‘He said, “I am the King of the Jews.”
‘Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written….”

The Sacred Name Identified:

There is one place in scripture where the Creator’s name is seen as Yah (Jah):

Tehelliym (Psalm) 68:4 (King James Version) Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:
extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name YAH (JAH), and rejoice before him.

4
In the Hebrew Strong’s Concordance it is seen as follows:

#3050 Yahh yaw contraction for 3068, and meaning the same; Jah, the sacred
name:--Jah, the Lord, most vehement. Compare names in “-iah,” “- jah.”

We know that this is the universal name of our Father because we see his name
in the word “Hallelujah” or more accurately “Hallel-u-YaH.” This means
“praise you Yah!”

The Name Jehovah

In the King James Bible, the name Jehovah appears 7 times in the TaNaKh (Old
Testament). Whenever we see the word LORD in all capital letters in the King
James Version and most modern English translations, that word “LORD” was
used as a “replacement” for the proper name of “Yah” or the 4 letters to his
name: YHWH pronounced as YaHuWaH.

The name of our creator was first revealed to Moses. YaHuWaH said that he
was only known to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by the title “El Shaddaiy” or in
English, “The Almighty God” but he was revealing his proper name to Mosheh
and he wanted Mosheh to know him as the eternal one.

Shemoth (Exodus) 6:3 (King James Version) And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac,
and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not
known to them.

But in the original Hebrew, it would’ve read like this:

Shemoth (Exodus) 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Yitzchaq, and unto Ya’aqob,
by the name of El Shaddaiy, but by my name YaHuWaH was I not known to them.

The “banner” of victory over the Amalekites was given to Moses as the name
YaHuWaH! In other words that name is what saved Yisra’el in the Amalekite
War!

Shemoth (Exodus) 17:15 And Mosheh built an altar, and called the name of it
YaHuWaH -Nissi.

5
In the Strong’s Hebrew Concordance we see the proper name of the Creator
defined. All letters highlighted in red denote that they were added by the
Masoretic Scribes in the 10th Century:

#3068. Yhovah yeh-ho-vaw’ from 1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah,

Jewish national name of God:--Jehovah, the Lord. Compare 3050, 3069.

This is a compound of the following two words:

#3050. Yahh yaw contraction for 3068, and meaning the same; Jah, the sacred
name:--Jah, the Lord, most vehement. Compare names in “-iah,” “- jah.”

#1943 hovah ho-vaw’ another form for 1942; ruin:--mischief.

Yah + Hovah

*Note: although the verb “hovah” means mischief, ruin, it comes from another
root word “havah” which means “to be, to breathe, to exist.” We will soon see
that this verb has a much deeper meaning than what meets the eye.

The first thing you will notice is that this name YHoVaH had no vowels origin-
ally. The letters “e, o, & a” were later inserted by the Hebrew Scribes (Masor-
ites) in the 10th Century.

*Note: I have emboldened the letters to represent what was in the original
Hebrew Scriptures before vowel points were added. The letters in red represent
the vowels that were later added in by the scribes.

Secondly, the letter “J” was invented and added to the English alphabet in the
1500’s so there was no letter “J” in the Hebrew Scriptures. As you can see, the
letter “J” was used as a replacement for the letter “Y” with no apparent reason
for doing this since our English alphabet already has a letter “Y” so there was
no need to find a new letter to make this sound. As a matter of fact, the letter “J”
when it was first created in the 1500’s used to make the “Y” sound! It did not
begin to sound more like the hard “G” sound until later on in American culture.
Thirdly the letter “V” or the equivalent of the Modern Hebrew letter called
“vav” did not sound like the letter “vee” originally. In ancient Hebrew it is
called a “waw” because it made a “double u” sound as in “uau.”
6
Hence, the name seen here as YHoVaH would have been YHoWaH in ancient
Hebrew. And the fourth point that I want to illustrate is that the Hebrew letter
“vav” in most Hebrew words made a long “u” sound but later on it took on the
“vee” sound or in some cases the long “o” sound. One such example is with the
modern Hebrew word for “repent” which is “teshuva.” You can see this word
in ancient Hebrew used to be “tshuwah.” The letter “t” or the “tav” in Hebrew
is in front of the word for “salvation” or deliverance. The modern “vav” used to
be a “waw” as we can see in the Hebrew Concordance:

#8668. tshuw`ah tesh-oo-aw’ or tshuah {tesh-oo-aw’}; from 7768 in the sense of

3467; rescue (literal or figurative, pers., national or spir.):-- deliverance, help,
safety, salvation, victory.

As you can see the letter “waw” in this word made the long “u” sound or the
double “o” sound. But as the Hebrew language migrated into Europe (and
because the scribes wanted to hide the name of the Creator), the letter “waw”
(vav) took on the long “o” sound when it came in the front of a name. But it
remained a long “u” sound when it came at the end of a name.

This became known as “the pre-tonal shortening rule.” This rule says that when
the Creator’s name is seen at the end of a person’s name, it remains as YaHuW
(pronounced Yahu). But if the Creator’s name comes in front of a name, then it
changes to YeHoW (Yeho). Another example of the Hebrew letter “vav” sound-
ing as a “double u” is seen in the word “Yeshua:”

#3444. yshuw`ah yesh-oo’-aw feminine passive participle of 3467; something

saved, i.e. (abstractly) deliverance; hence, aid, victory, prosperity:--deliverance,
health, help(-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.

As you can see, the word Yeshua is Yod, Shin, Waw (Vav), Ayin. If the Hebrew
letter “vav” in the word “yeshua” was supposed to sound like a “vee,” then we
would all be pronouncing it as “yeshva” instead of “Yeshuwa.” The fact that
the vav suddenly becomes a “uw” sound at the end of a word, gives us a hint
that this is the way the letter vav sounded before the “pre-tonal shortening
rule” was invented in modern Hebrew.

*Example: The name Joshua in the Hebrew Strong’s Concordance:

7
#3091 Yhowshuwa` yeh-ho-shoo’-ah or Yhowshua {yeh-ho-shoo’-ah}; from
3068 and 3467; Jehovah-saved; Jehoshua (i.e. Joshua), the Jewish leader:--
Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Joshua. Compare 1954, 3442.

As you can see, the pronunciation key says that the name Joshua should be pro-
nounced as “Yehowshuwa” but looking at the original letters, we can see that
these letters are as follows:

Yod, Hey, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin. The letters that were inserted for
pronunciation are:

o, h, u

How was the name Joshua pronounced before the vowels were added in?

Yod = Y sound
Hey = ah sound
Waw = long u sound
Shin = sh sound
Waw = long u sound
Ayin = ah sound

Hence, Joshua was originally pronounced like: Yah-who-shoo-ah

No vowels were needed in Ancient Paleo Hebrew in order to phonetically

sound out words. The original Hebrew Scriptures had no vowels!

This name YeHoVaH/YeHoWaH is a compound word combining the Father’s

name (Yah) with a verb that means “to be, to exist” (havah).

The Verb “To Be”

The mystery attached to the Name of the Almighty, is related to the verb “to
be.” When Yah appeared to Mosheh in the burning bush, he revealed his name:

Shemoth (Exodus) (KJV) 3:14 And Elohiym said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and
he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

8
More literally, this phrase means: “I am, I was, I will be” or “I will be who I
will be” which is the Hebrew verb “Havah.”

This phrase seen in the graphic above is “AhYah Asher AhYah” means “I AM
that I AM.” You can see the name “Yah” in the term “I AM.”

We see the Hebrew letter “Hey” (pronounced as ah) means “the” and then it is
followed by the name “Yah.”

The + Yah = AhYah (the one who is)

Now let’s look at this verb:

#1942 havvah hav-vaw’ from 1933 (in the sense of eagerly coveting and rush-
ing upon; by implication, of falling); desire; also ruin:--calamity, iniquity,
mischief, mischievous (thing), naughtiness, naughty, noisome, perverse thing,
substance, very wickedness.

Now you may be saying to yourself “how can the most sacred name of the
Almighty mean wickedness or mischief?” Well, we must look at the root word
and all of the synonyms to understand the meaning of this word:

#1933 hava’ haw-vaw’ or havah {haw-vaw’}; a primitive root (Compare 183,

1961) supposed to mean properly, to breathe, to be (in the sense of existence):--
be, have.
9
So we find out that the root word “hava” means “to be, to breath, to exist.”

But let’s look at the other definitions and how these words are used to describe
the character of the Almighty in scripture:

1.) to breathe
2.) to be
3.) existence
4.) coveting, jealous
5.) rushing upon
6.) to fall upon
7.) desire
8.) ruin
9.) calamity
10.) substance

In Hebrews 1:3 we find out that the Creator is a “person” (singular) not “per-
sons” (plural). To believe that he is more than one person is to believe in “poly-
theism” (more than one god). The commandment is very clear that we are not to
worship any other deity besides him:

Shemoth (Exodus) 20:3 You shall have no other gods (mighty ones) before me.

The Messiah Yahuwshuwa (Jesus) is described as the “express image” of the

person of Elohiym (God):

Ibriym (Hebrews) 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of
his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself
purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

In the Greek Strong’s Concordance, the word for “person” is defined as follows:

#5287. hupostasis hoop-os’-tas-is from a compound of 5259 and 2476; a setting

under (support), i.e. (figuratively) concretely, essence, or abstractly, assurance
(objectively or subjectively):--confidence, confident, person, substance.

The Hebrew counterpart to this word for the person of the Creator is #5315
Nephesh:
10
Soul, self, life, creature, person, appetite, mind, living being, desire, emotion,
passion, that which breathes, the breathing substance or being, soul, the inner
being of man, living being (with life in the blood), the man himself, individual.

Another definition of “havah” is to “rush upon” by implication of falling. We

read about Yah pouring out his Holy Spirit upon “all flesh” in the last days in
Yowel (Joel) 2:28. We also read about those whom the rock “falls upon” being
broken. The chief cornerstone is Yahuwshuwa Messiah, and if we fall upon him,
we shall be “broken” but if he has to fall upon us, we will be grinded into pow-
der:

Luqas (Luke) 20:18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on
whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 3:12 Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a
great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of YHWH from his place.

Ma’asheh Shlichiym (Acts) 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of
a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Shemoth (Exodus) 20:5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I
YHWH your Elohiym (God) am a jealous Elohiym, visiting the iniquity of the fathers
upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.

YaHuWaH actually calls his name JEALOUS:

Shemoth (Exodus) 34:14 For you shall worship no other god: for YHWH, whose name
is Jealous, is a jealous Elohiym.

The Hebrew word for Jealous is as follows:

#7067 qanna’ kan-naw’ from 7065; jealous:--jealous. Compare 7072

#7072 qannow’ kan-no’ for 7067; jealous or angry:--jealous.

#7065 qana’ kaw-naw’ a primitive root; to be (causatively, make) zealous, i.e.

(in a bad sense) jealous or envious:--(be) envy(-ious), be (move to, provoke to)
jealous(-y), very, (be) zeal(-ous).

11
And so we discover that one of his characteristics is that he covets his bride for
himself in the root word “havah.” We also find another definition “to breathe”
in this root word. Did not Elohiym “breath” into man his own spirit when he
formed Adam?

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 2:7 And YHWH Elohiym formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

We know that jealousy or covetousness is a sin for humans, yet we find that Yah
is jealous for his beloved bride Yisra’el. He is allowed to be jealous over us
because he created us and his motives are pure and just.

Shemoth (Exodus) 20:17 You shall not covet your neighbour’s house, you shall
not covet your neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox,
nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbour’s.

Like a jealous husband that loves his bride he will not share her with any other
lover, so is YaHuWaH to those of us who are in covenant with him!

In this word “havah” we see many aspects to Yah’s nature and character. We
find that Yah is indeed one who “eagerly covets” his people. We find that he does
indeed “fall upon” us. We also find that he “ruins” us by destroying the old sin-
ful nature so that he can recreate in us a new nature. He will grind us into pow-
der so he can recreate a new vessel from the ashes.

The secondary definition to this word “havah” means “calamity,” and so we find
that he brings calamity when we rebel against him.

Here we read that the Almighty in his wisdom “laughs” when calamity comes
to the foolish:

Mishley (Proverbs) 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear
comes.

Mishley (Proverbs) 6:15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he
be broken without remedy.

12
Another definition of “havah” is “desire” and we see that Yah desires us as a
husband desires his bride:

Tehelliym (Psalm) 45:11 “So shall the king greatly desire your beauty: for he is your
Master; and worship you him.”

Now we get a better picture of what the word “havah” means. And yes it does
mean “destruction” but what do you suppose Yah did in the days of Noah? He
poured out his wrath in the form of DESTRUCTION!

When Messiah returns on that Great and Terrible day of wrath, he will bring
utter destruction to the kingdoms of this world so that he can set up his new
millennial kingdom. We find that Yah brings life to the upright, but destruction
to the workers of iniquity:

Mishley (Proverbs) 10:29 The way of YHWH is strength to the upright: but destruc-
tion shall be to the workers of iniquity.

Tehelliym (Psalm) 55:23 But you, O Elohiym, shall bring them down into the pit
of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will
trust in you.

Tehelliym (Psalm) 73:18 Surely you did set them in slippery places: you cast them down
into destruction.

Yahuwshuwa Messiah also “destroyed” the sinful nature when he was nailed to
the tree:

Romiym (Romans) 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the
body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

The Tri-Grammaton YaHuW Unites Father & Son

We can also see the root word for the Creator’s name in the names of prophets:

#3058 Yehuw’ yay-hoo’ from 3068 and 1931; Jehovah (is) He; Jehu, the name of
five Israelites:--Jehu.

13
As you can see, three of the letters to the Father’s name are seen here as what is
called “the trigrammaton.” But this name “YeHuW” would have been pronoun-
ced as YaHuW before the “pre-tonal shortening rule” was invented in the 10th
Century.

#452 Eliyah ay-lee-yaw’ or prolonged EliYaHuW {ay-lee-yaw’-hoo}; from 410

and 3050; God of Jehovah; Elijah, the name of the famous prophet and of two
other Israelites:--Elijah, Eliah.

Once again we see the first three letters to the Father’s name (YHW) at the end
of the name Elijah as EliYaHuW. The name Jeremiah is also seen here with the
Father’s name at the end:

#3414 Yirmyah yir-meh-yaw’ or YirmYaHuW {yir-meh-yaw’-hoo}; from 7311

and 3050; Jah will rise; Jirmejah, the name of eight or nine Israelites:--Jeremiah.

The name Isaiah is another name with the trigrammaton (three letters) to the
Father’s name in it:

#3470 Ysha`yah yesh-ah-yaw’ or YshaYaHuW {yesh-ah-yaw’-hoo}; from 3467

and 3050; Jah has saved; Jeshajah, the name of seven Israelites:--Isaiah, Jesaiah,
Jeshaiah.

And so the question must be asked: “Why was the pre-tonal shortening rule
invented that caused the Father’s name to change from YaHuW to YeHoW?”

Author and Hebrew Scholar Nehemia Gordon explains:

The Ban on the Divine Name

By Nehemia Gordon
http://chronosynchro.net/pdf/yhwh1.pdf

One of the maladies of modern Judaism is the strict prohibition against uttering
the name of the Creator. The modern Rabbinic law code Mishnah Berurah
explains:

It is forbidden to read the glorious and terrible name as it is written, as the sages
said “He that pronounces the name as it is written has no portion in the world
14
to come.” Therefore it must be read as if it were written Adonai. (Mishnah
Berurah 5:2)

This is hardly a modern innovation. It appears already in the early 3rd century
CE in the Mishnah tractate of Sanhedrin:

“The following have no portion in the world to come: Abba Saul says: one who
pronounces the divine name as it is written.” (Mishnah Sanhedrin 10:1)

It would be a mistake to assume this absolute prohibition concerning the name

goes back to Biblical times. The Talmud itself reports how the ban started: “The
[Seleucid] Greeks decreed that the name of God may not be spoken aloud; but when the
Hasmoneans grew in strength and defeated them they decreed that the name of God be
used even in contracts... when the Rabbis heard about this they said, ‘Tomorrow this
person will pay his debt and the contract will be thrown on a garbage heap’ so they
forbade its use in contracts.” (Babylonian Talmud, Rosh Hashannah 18b)

We see that the prohibition to use the name of YHWH began as one of the anti-
Torah decrees enacted by the Seleucid Greek tyrant Antiochus IV Epiphanies in
168 BCE.

This was part of Antiochus IV’s policy of Hellenizing the Jews, that is, turning
them into Greeks. The same decree included a ban on circumcision and Sabbath
and a requirement that every Jew partake in the pig-sacrifices to Zeus and
Apollo. The Hasmoneans, under the leadership Judah Maccabee, eventually
defeated the Greeks.

*Nehemia Gordon’s article ends here, and Maria Merola’s article continues:

The name “Yah” means “the self-existent one” in Hebrew. The compound word
then for his name would be:

YAH- Hovah (modern Hebrew)

But in Ancient Paleo Hebrew:

YAH-Huwah (ancient Hebrew)

15
The “v” in “hovah” is modern Hebrew, but the “vee” sound used to be a “waw”
sound in Ancient Hebrew, as I have already illustrated.

The verb “to be” in Modern Hebrew is “Havah,” but in Ancient Paleo Hebrew,
this same verb is “Huwah.” The letter “waw” is pronounced as a long “u”
sound, hence the three letters H-W-H would be pronounced HuWaH without
the vowels added in.

The Shema

When asked “what is the greatest of all commandments” our Messiah revealed
that we must believe that YaHuWaH is one being, that he is “self-existent” and
that he will not share his glory with another.

The Hebrew word for “one” is “echad.”

#259. ‘echad ekh-awd’ a numeral from 258; properly, united, i.e. one; or (as an
ordinal) first:--a, alike, alone, altogether, and, any(-thing), apiece, a certain, (dai-
)ly, each (one), + eleven, every, few, first, + highway, a man, once, one, only,
other, some, together.

As we can see, the Father and the Son are perfectly united as “one” and
YaHuWaH “alone” is Elohiym and there is no other besides him.

Shemoth (Exodus) 20:3 You shall have no other gods before (besides) me.

Marqos (Mark) 12:29 And Yahuwshuwa answered him, The first of all the
commandments is, Hear, O Yisra’el; YHWH our Elohiym is one YHWH.

This is therefore the correct rendering of the SH’MAH, the Greatest Command-
ment from Deuteronomy 6:4:

SH’MAH YISRA’EL YAH HUWAH ELOHEINU YAH HUWAH ECHAD

HEAR ISRAEL YAH IS OUR GOD YAH IS ONE

Judaism has replaced the proper name in the Shema (since their return from the
Babylonian Captivity) to “Adonai” which means “Master” and this is a violation
16
of the Commandment. We are not to replace the proper name of the Creator
Yod-Hey-Waw-Hey in the Shema with a generic title such as “Lord” or
“Adonai” (Master).

Debariym (Deuteronomy) 4:2 You shall not add unto the word which I command
you, neither shall you diminish ought from it, that you may keep the command-
ments of YHWH your Elohiym which I command you.

Vain Empty Titles Not to be Used for Our Creator

The second of the Ten Commandments tells us not to take the name of our
Creator, YaHuWaH in vain:

Shemoth (Exodus) 20:7 You shall not take the name of YHWH your Elohiym
in vain; for YHWH will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.

This is a very serious commandment. So how can we know if we are taking his
name in vain or not? What does this word “vain” mean in Hebrew?

#7723 shav’ shawv or shav {shav}; from the same as 7722 in the sense of deso-
lating; evil (as destructive), literally (ruin) or morally (especially guile); figur-
atively idolatry (as false, subjective), uselessness (as deceptive, objective; also
adverbially, in vain):--false(-ly), lie, lying, vain, vanity.

As you can see “taking the name of YHWH in vain” has several different imply-
cations. It means to make his name “desolate” (empty, not using it or pronoun-
cing it). It means to use his name and attach it to an idol. The Yisra’elites called
the golden calf in the wilderness “YaHuWaH.” Also using false names such
as “the Lord” in place of his proper name, or J’zeus (which comes from Zeus).
Some people get upset when I tell them that the name Jesus comes from Zeus
and they try to deny this fact with all kinds of scholarly information to disprove
this. But in spite of this fact, YaHuWaH has allowed many of us (including my-
self) to be saved under the incorrect name of Jesus back in 1981. I do believe that
the Holy Spirit is able to interpret the false name “J’zeus” as Yahuwshuwa
before the throne of our Father when we pray according to Romans 8:26-27. He
knows what our heart wants to say but our corrupt languages prevent us from
saying things properly. However, once his true name has been revealed to us by
his spirit, we need to follow through with obedience by using his “set apart
17
name.” See my other article entitled: “Does the Name Jesus Really Come from
Zeus?”

The generic title “Baal” also means: Lord or Master:

#1167. ba`al bah’-al from 1166; a master; hence, a husband, or (figuratively)

owner (often used with another noun in modifications of this latter sense):--
+ archer, + babbler, + bird, captain, chief man, + confederate, + have to do, +
dreamer, those to whom it is due, + furious, those that are given to it, great, +
hairy, he that hath it, have, + horseman, husband, lord, man, + married, master,
person, + sworn, they of.

We see that this vain title “Baal” means “archer” which is a reference to Nimrod
the “mighty hunter” of men’s souls (Genesis 10:8-9). Notice also that this word
also has to do with a confederate (in other words many pagan deities).

Is the word Lord or Master an evil title? No, these are not evil or bad titles no
more than the word “husband” is a bad word, as we have seen that “Baal” and
“Ishi” both mean “husband, lord or master.” Some people within the “Sacred
Name Movement” go to extremes by taking certain scriptures out of context and
thus making it appear that these are bad words. The term “lord, master or
husband” are not evil words “in and of themselves.” But we should never replace
the proper name of YaHuWaH with a vain empty title as “the Lord” or “Baal.”
Why? Because there are many “lords” and many “gods,” so we must identify
him by his proper name in order to differentiate him from the other pagan
deities which are actually fallen angels:

1st Qorintiym (Corinthians) 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in
heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,).

Calling our Creator by a vain title or a generic name does not differentiate him
from the other fallen angels who want to be called “gods” or “lords.” When we
address him, we should always include his proper name such as “Master
YaHuWaH,” “Adonai YaHuWaH,” or “Lord YaHuWaH.” But to call him “the
Lord” or “Adonai” (as a replacement for his proper name) is like a wife calling
her husband “mister.”

What if a woman had formerly been a prostitute and now she is married, but
18
she calls her husband “mister” and she never addresses him by his proper
name? Her husband, knowing full well that all of the men that she picked up off
of the street in her former lifestyle were also called “mister.” Her husband
would not feel very special and he would never know if she was thinking of
him or all of those former lovers! This is how YaHuWaH felt when Yisra’el
began referring to him as “Baal.” And even today in the Christian Church,
people never address him by his proper name, YaHuWaH. They instead call
him “the Lord” or “God” and these are “vain titles” because they can apply to any
deity or fallen angel.

In these last days, YaHuWaH prophesied through Hosea that he would bring
the scattered tribes of Yisra’el out of all nations and that they would no longer
call him by a vain title (Baali) but they would begin to call him “Ishi” which
means “husband.”

Hoshea (Hosea) 2:

13 AndI will visit upon her the days of Ba’alim, wherein she burned incense to
them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her
lovers, and forgot me, says YHWH.

14 Therefore,
behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak
comfortably unto her.

15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of
hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she
came up out of the land of Egypt.

16 Andit shall be at that day, says YHWH, that you shall call me Ishi; and shall call me
no more Baali.

17 For
I will take away the names of Ba’alim out of her mouth, and they shall no
more be remembered by their name.

You see there is a two-fold meaning to this prophecy. The word “Ishi” means
“husband” but the word “Baali” also means “husband” or “master” as well. So
what is the difference?

19
#376. ‘iysh eesh contracted for 582 (or perhaps rather from an unused root
meaning to be extant); a man as an individual or a male person; often used as
an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed
in translation):--also, another, any (man), a certain, + champion, consent, each,
every (one), fellow, (foot-, husband-)man, (good-, great, mighty) man, he, high
(degree), him (that is), husband, man(-kind), + none, one, people, person, +
steward, what (man) soever, whoso(-ever), worthy. Compare 802.

The answer to this question can be found in this account where the prophet
Eliyahuw (Elijah) calls Yisra’el back to using the proper name of their Creator:

1st Melakiym (Kings) 18:21 And Eliyahuw (Elijah) came unto all the people, and said,
How long halt you between two opinions? if YHWH be Elohiym, follow him: but
if Ba’al, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

What is the difference between the proper name YaHuWaH and the title
“Ba’al?” YaHuWaH has already been identified as the one who met with Mosh-
eh at the burning bush and he is “the self-existent one” who is the very breath
of life that we breathe. But “Ba’al” is just another generic title that Yisra’el began
to attach to our Creator. They began replacing his proper name YaHuWaH
which is his “set apart” name with the same title that was given to all of the
many pagan deities of the heathen nations (which are really demons). Another
meaning to this prophecy is that Yisra’el saw YaHuWaH as a “hard task master”
because they viewed his commandments as being burdensome or grievous.
Their attitude towards his Towrah (instructions) was one of rebellion. They did
not see that the commandments were a written marriage contract. They instead
saw the Towrah as “bondage” (much like today’s Christian Churches). And so
consequently, they viewed him as “master” but not as a loving husband. When
Yisra’el’s heart is changed by the Renewing of the Covenant in Messiah’s blood
(Jeremiah 33:31-33) they will no longer call his Towrah a burden, but they will
see his Towrah as a written marriage covenant (called Ketuwbah in Hebrew).
They will see his instructions as being loving and not grievous (John 5:3).

Another title for our Creator in English that has been derived from a pagan
deity is the title “God.” We can see below that the name “Baal Gawd” is a prop-
er name of the demon of fortune:

20
#1171. Ba`al Gad bah’-al gawd from 1168 and 1409; Baal of Fortune; Baal-Gad, a
place in Syria:--Baal-gad.

In the Hebrew Scriptures, the English word “God” is rendered as “Elohiym”

or “El” which is what I use in place of the vain title “god” as there are many
demons who are called “gods” and “lords.”

What About the Name Yahweh?

There is actually overwhelming proof that the “Yahweh” Pronunciation is Greek

and not Hebrew. At this website, we can see the history behind the name
Yahweh:

http://www.yahushua.net/YAHUWAH/chapter_09.htm

What’s wrong with this statement? “Several early Greek writers of the Christ-
ian Church testify that the name was pronounced Yahweh.” The Modern Judaica
Encyclopedia, Vol. 7 p. 679:

But YHWH is a Hebrew name!

On the surface the above quote sounds pious doesn’t it? Very few scholars
detected anything. Who were these Greek writers?

“The pronunciation, Yahweh, is indicated by the transliteration of the name

into Greek in early Christian literature… ‘by Clement of Alexandria, and by
Theodoret. . . . Strictly speaking, Yahweh is the only name of god.” The New
Bible Dictionary p. 478 by J.D. Douglas. Not mentioned in the quote, but also
used for evidence for Yahweh, is Epiphanius (who wrote Iabe) and Origen who
wrote (Iae).

The Catholic Church quoted fairly: “... Judging from Greek transcriptions, the Set-
Apart Name.. YHWH ought to be pronounced Yahweh.” 8

21
Gesenius stated in his Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon “this same form appears on the
gems of the Egyptian Gnostics as the name of God ...[but these gems are not of
the most remote antiquity; they are the work of heretics of the 1 second and
third centuries].” (brackets not supplied) under #3068 Jehovah

Clement of Alexandria was a teacher of the Gnostic’s and Origen was one of his
students. The Masons and Catholics alike claim Clement, Origen, Theodoret
and Epiphanius as the forefathers of their faith.

Simon Magus (Acts 8:9-24) was the father of Gnostic heresies, also pseudo-
Messiah, he was a teacher who went to Rome and taught angelology and
astrology.

The school in Alexandria was mixing paganism in the true apostolic faith and
promoting “sun worship.” It was the school of Gnosticism that prepared the
way for the Papacy to be established. Constantine was also a Gnostic Christian.
Some of their heretical beliefs are as follows:

Predestination from astrology; The body could never be saved; That prophets were not
dependable for inspiration; They believed in magic; Sprinkling instead of baptism by
immersion; Sunday worship; Hatred for the Towrah.

Can we therefore trust these men with the pronunciation of the name of
YaHuWaH?

The Jesuits restored Gnosticism in the Council of Trent:

“The Society of Jesus proposed to subordinate the Holy Scriptures and in their place
substitute the interpretations of the Bible by the ecclesiastical writers of the first centu-
ries whom they call the ‘fathers.’ All the errors and vagaries of the allegorizers who
confused and darkened the first three centuries were selected. The first great papal
council which assembled after the Reformation, the Council of Trent (A.D. 1545-1563),
was dominated by the Jesuits. This assembly laid down the law, and no papal authority
has dared since to dispute it.”----Truth Triumphant p. 317

Why use Greek writers for evidence anyway? Greeks were notorious for
altering Hebrew names.

22
Below is a chart showing that all Hebrew names in scripture end with the “ah”
sound, but they were changed by the Greeks to have the “eh” sound at the end.
One example is the name Noah which became Noe in Greek and many more
seen below:

As you can see from the chart above, the Greeks changed all Hebrew names
ending with the “ah” sound to the “eh” sound, so we know that they did the
same thing with the name YaHuWaH and changed it to Yahweh.

In the last days our Creator said in Zephaniah 3:9 “I will turn to the people a
pure language….”

And for what purpose?

Tzphanyahuw (Zephaniah) 3:9 “….That they may call upon the name of YHWH, to
serve Him with one consent”

What language should we consult to derive the true pronunciation of the set-
apart name? Certainly not the Greek! However Scripture tells us which
language it is.

Thus saith YaHuWaH of hosts:

Zekaryahuw (Zechariah) 8:23 In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall
take hold out of all the languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt
(kanaph, tzizit) of him that is a Yahuwdiy (Jew), saying, ‘We will go with you: for we
have heard that Elohiym is with you.

It seems strange that scholars only mention the evidence of the early Greek
writers. Why do they not give all the other evidences?

25
The evidence from Origen is “Iae,” but this was also the name of a pagan god.
In the Dictionary of World Mythology by Cotterell under Kuat, who is “the sun god
in Kamaiuran mythology.” We find that “Iae” was the moon god, and brother to
Kuat. Strange that Origen came up with this, when Clement his teacher used
Iaoue.

“Clement, most famous of the Alexandrian college faculty and teacher of Origen, boast-
ed that he would not teach Christianity unless it were mixed with pagan philosophy.”---
Truth Triumphant p. 47

The Greek language does not even have a “Y” sound, or an H sound in the mid-
dle of a word, nor a “w,” nor an “sh” sound. Neither did the Latin have a “w”
sound, nor an “sh” sound. Therefore many early believers contended that the
Messiah’s name could only be pronounced from the Hebrew correctly.

The Father & the Son Perfectly United in the Name YaHuW

We can see a beautiful prophetic picture of the Heavenly Father and the Mes-
siah in Zechariah chapter 6. We see from this account that the name of our
Messiah is actually the name “Joshua” which is rendered “Yehowshuwa” in
Modern Hebrew, and YaHuWshuwa (Yahushua) in ancient Hebrew due to the
fact that there was no “pre-tonal shortening rule” in ancient times. The Hebrew
name Joshua means “YaHuWaH Saved” or “YaHuWaH is salvation.”

Zekaryahuw (Zechariah) 6:

10 Takeof them of the captivity, even of Chalday (Heldai), of TowbiYaHuW (Tobijah),

and of YadaYaHuW (Jedaiah) which are come from Babylon, and come you the same
day, and go into the house of YoshiYaHuW (Josiah) the son of TzaphanYaHuW
(Zephaniah).

11 Then
take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of
YaHuWshuwa (Joshua) the son of YaHuWzedek (Josedech), the high priest;

*Note: this account is a prophetic picture of the eternal High Priest YaHuW-
shuwa (Joshua) after the order of Melchizedek (King of Righteousness). Joshua
is the son of the High Priest known as YaHuWzedek. We are seeing a prophetic
picture of the Son (Joshua) whose name means “YaHuWaH saved” and his

26
Father’s name means “YaHuWaH is Righteous.” In Hebrews 7 we read about the
High Priest Melchizedek who has an eternal existence “having neither begin-
ning of days nor end of days” and he abides as a priest forever. This same High
Priest met with Abraham in Genesis 14:18. Some theologians say that Melchi-
zedek is “Shem” the son of Noah but since Melchizedek has an eternal existence,
this is not true. The very name “Shem” in Hebrew means “name” and so this
gives us a hint that Noah’s son Shem was also a prophetic type of “the name”
above every other name that we call upon for salvation! Shem was indeed
included in the order of Melchizedek but that title was not limited to him. The
title “Malki” (King) and Tzadiq (Righteous) is reserved for YaHuWaH our
Creator and his son Yahuwshuwa. We who are in covenant with him are his
royal priests forever in his order (1st Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:6, 5:10).

Zekaryahuw (Zechariah) 6:

12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaks YHWH of hosts, saying, Behold the man
whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build
the temple of YHWH:

13 Evenhe shall build the temple of YHWH; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and
rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace
shall be between them both.

*Note: this is a prophetic picture of the Messiah (the son) whose name is “the
Branch” and he is receiving “many crowns” (Revelation 19:12), and he is also a
High Priest after the order of Melchizedek which means “King of Righteous-
ness” (Malki-Tzadiq). And his Father’s name is YaHuWzedek which means
“YaHuWaH is righteous.”

This is how we know that the Son’s name contains the Father’s name! By calling
him Yahuwshuwa we are declaring that the Father has saved us in the past and
he is continuing to save us in the present and in the future through his son!

Another clue is that the prophecy in Amos 9:11 and in Acts 15:16 states that the
Messiah will “build the Tabernacle of David that is fallen down.” The prophecy here
in Zechariah 6 also states that he will build the Temple of YaHuWaH. This is
none other than the Messiah!

27
The name Joshua was abbreviated with the ban of the Creator’s name and so the
name of our Messiah has been shortened to Y’shua (removing the Father’s
name) and it simply means “something saved.” But is this a viable substitute for
the name that we are supposed to be calling on for salvation?

Our Messiah Yahuwshuwa declared that he came in his Father’ name. Some
people try to rationalize that this only means that he came in his Father’s auth-
ority. But the Hebrew word for “name” is “shem” and it means much more than
just a person’s authority or character. It actually means a “physical monument” or
a memorial to the person’s reputation! This means that it must have a visible
identifier, and not just an abstract concept. See my other blog entitled “The
Sacred Name & Character of the Father & the Son.”

Yahuwchanon (John) 5:43 I am come in my Father’s name, and you receive me not: if
another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.

If the name that we were commanded to call upon for salvation in the TaNaKh
(Old Testament) was the Father’s name YaHuW, then why would it suddenly
change in the New Testament to simply “Y’shua” or Yeshua (minus the Father’s
name)?

Y’shuwa is an abbreviated form of the name Yahuwshuwa (Joshua) because the

Father’s name (Yahu) has been removed on purpose.

But Yahuwshuwa is actually a perfect prophetic picture seen in Joshua the son
of Nun in scripture and also Joshua the High Priest in Zechariah 6. If we call
him Y’shua, we are calling him “salvation.” But if we call him “YaHuWshuwa”
we are declaring that the Father’s salvation is in the son!

The Strong’s Concordance shows us the two different names:

#3091. Yhowshuwa` yeh-ho-shoo’-ah or Yhowshua {yeh-ho-shoo’-ah}; from

3068 and 3467; Jehovah-saved; Jehoshua (i.e. Joshua), the Jewish leader:--
Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Joshua. Compare 1954, 3442.

#3442. yeshuwa` yay-shoo’-ah for 3091; he will save; Jeshua, the name of ten
Israelites, also of a place in Palestine:--Jeshua.

28
#3443. Yeshuwa` yay-shoo'-ah (Aramaic) corresponding to 3442:--Jeshua.

As you can see, Yhowshuwa’s name has 6 Hebrew Letters in it (Yod, Hey,
Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin). But Yeshuwa has only 4 Hebrew Letters in it: (Yod,
Shin, Waw, Ayin). Why is this significant? There are a total of Ten Command-
ments that are like the “Table of Contents” to the other 613 commandments in
the Towrah (the first five books of the Bible). Out of those Ten Commandments,
the first 4 commandments tell us how to love YaHuWaH our Creator with all of
our “heart, mind, soul and strength” (Mark 12:30, Deuteronomy 6:5). The Father’s
name has 4 Hebrew Letters (YHWH). The latter 6 commandments in the Ten
Commandments tell us how to love our fellow man, and Yahuwshuwa Messiah
came as “the son of man” so it is fitting that there are 6 Hebrew Letters to his
name (YHWSWA).

The Yod, Hey & Waw are unique to the Father’s name which is the name of
salvation! If you remove the Hey (the breath or spirit of Yah) and you remove
the Waw (the nail), you are removing the prophetic pictures of his name
YaHuW. By calling our Messiah with these Hebrew letters we are making a
prophetic declaration every time we use his name:

29
YaHuW means “hand, behold, nail” and then the other word for “salvation”
(shuwa) is added to say “hand, behold, nail, is salvation.”

This end-time prophecy tells us that people will be calling upon the Father’s
name for salvation:

Yowel (Joel) 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of
YHWH shall be delivered: for in mount Tziyown (Zion) and in Yerushalayim (Jeru-
salem) shall be deliverance, as YHWH has said, and in the remnant whom YHWH shall
call.

Most people assume that in Acts 4:10-12, the name that we are supposed to call
upon for salvation is the Greek name “Jesus.”

In the King James Version we read:

Ma’aseh Shlichiym (Acts) 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel,
that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised
from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Ma’aseh Shlichiym (Acts) 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none
other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

But we have already learned that the letter “J” is only about 500 years old so the
name “Jesus” did not exist when the book of Acts was first written. The name
that we called upon for salvation in the Old Testament is the Father’s name
(YaHuW) and we know that he never changes. He is the same, yesterday, today
and forever. Therefore the name that we call upon for salvation also does not
change! It is still the name YaHuW---the Father’s name contained in the Son’s
name! Therefore the name under heaven whereby we must be saved should be
written as follows:

Ma’aseh Shlichiym (Acts) 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of
Yisra’el, that by the name of Yahuwshuwa ha’Mashiyach of Nazareth, whom you
crucified, whom Elohiym raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here
before you whole.

30
Ma’aseh Shlichiym (Acts) 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none
other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Now we know why the Son’s name is above every other name! It is because it
has the Father’s name in it!

Pilippiym (Philippians) 2:9 Wherefore Elohiym also has highly exalted him, and given
him a name which is above every name:

Can People Be Saved Using the Name Jesus or Yeshua?

The answer to this question is “yes.” Back in 1981, YaHuWaH heard my prayers
when I prayed in the name of Jesus but that is because the Holy Spirit interprets
the name “Jesus” as Yahuwshuwa before the throne (Romans 8:26-27). He
knows that we are using a confused language since the Tower of Babel, and he
is the one who even caused our languages to be confused until the last days
when he said that he would restore us back to a pure language (Zephaniah 3:9).
But now that we know his true set-apart name, we need to get on board with
what the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) is doing in these last days.

The Name of the Beast

I believe that there will be a turning point when the Roman Papacy will make it
punishable by death to use the true set-apart name of YaHuWaH and our
Savior’s name Yahuwshuwa. We have already seen this begin back in 2008. The
Vatican has already banned the name of YHWH (the Tetragrammaton) from all
hymnal books and prayer books. See the link below:

http://www.catholicnews.com/data/stories/cns/0804119.htm

We have also seen from Nehemia Gordon’s article explaining that the Greek
dictator Antiochus Ephiphanies (a precursor to the Anti-Messiah) banned the
name of YaHuWaH in 164 C.E. under penalty of death. Those who use the “set-
apart” name of our creator YaHuW will then be decapitated as the Noahite
Laws have already been put into motion for this by the Jewish Sanhedrin in
cooperation with the Vatican. See video below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy9Zx9RkDD4&feature=related
31
At this point, people will be given a choice to use the name Je’Zeus (which
comes from Zeus) or the true “set-apart name.” At this point, the lines will be
drawn and people will have to lose their lives for the true name of salvation.
Until then, I believe that YaHuWaH is extending grace for those of us who got
saved using the name Jesus out of ignorance. But there will be a point in time
when those using the name “Jesus” will be worshiping the name that the
Roman Antichrist puts into the law and once that happens, then people who
use that name will be worshiping the Beast. We can see from prophecy that
those who refuse to call him by his true name will be judged:

Yirmeyahuw (Jeremiah) 10:25 Pour out your fury upon the heathen that know you
not, and upon the families that CALL NOT ON YOUR NAME: for they have eaten
up Ya’aqob (Jacob), and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habita-
tion desolate.

Extremes Within the Sacred Name Movement

Some people say that unless you are spelling the name of our Creator or pron-
ouncing the name “their way” that you are not saved. I don’t agree with these
people at all! Salvation does not depend on pronunciation and spelling alone. I
do believe that it is extremely important that we seek to know his name and
that we study the Hebrew language so that we are using the correct Hebrew
letters in the name of our Creator. These Hebrew letters carry prophetic mean-
ing and frequencies that change the atmosphere. Our Creator is not like an
impersonal vending machine in the sky who only answers us when we put in
“the exact change.” He is not like some cosmic telephone that only answers
when we use the correct numbers on the key pad. He understands “baby lang-
uage” just like a parent who understands their baby when he is just learning
how to talk. YaHuWaH views his children as his babies, and he sees our hearts
when we are trying our best based on the misinformation that we have been
given.

We should seek YaHuWaH with our entire being and ask him to reveal his
name to us by his spirit and not merely based on what others teach about his
name. I believe that he will answer those who genuinely want to know his
name and he will reveal it. I don’t want anyone to use the name YaHuWaH as
revealed to me just because “I said so.” It must come to you by divine revelation
through prayer and study. Some people end up bouncing all over the place
32
using one version of the name and then moving to another one based on which
peer group or fellowship they belong to. Each person will have to answer to the
Father based on the divine revelation that they walked in for themselves.

Our salvation is going to be based on our obedience to the revelation we were

given from above, and whether or not we followed through. It is important that
we at least acknowledge the 4 Hebrew Letters in the creators name called “The
Tetragrammton:” Yod-Hey-Waw-Hey. We should never replace his name with
“the Lord” or “God” as seen in all modern Bible Translations. The vowel points
that I have inserted in the name YaHuWaH as “a, u, a” are merely added to aid
in pronunciation. We cannot standardize a Hebrew name using English letters
and base a person’s salvation on this. There is another extreme view within the
other camp of people who say “It doesn’t really matter what we call him because he
knows my heart.”

The flaw with believing this, is that the scriptures teach us otherwise. If we
could call him anything that we want to, then that reasoning will lead to those
who want to call the Creator “Allah” (like the Vatican is now doing). New Age
philosophy teaches that we can call upon the name of “Maitreya” or “Buddha”
for salvation and it all means the same thing! That is what the spirit of the Anti-
Messiah is now promoting. It is the attitude that says “any name will do, any
god will do.” Obviously “it does matter” or else, why are we told that there is
only “one name under heaven whereby we must be saved?” (Acts 4:12). I believe
that the Holy Spirit knows who his elect are and he already seals them in their
foreheads in advance with the name of the Heavenly Father, YaHuWaH even
before they know how to pronounce it correctly (see Revelation 14:1-3). Back in
2006, I began using the name Yehovah but I continued to seek and pray until he
finally revealed to me the name YaHuWaH in 2009. Was I not saved until I
learned to use the name YaHuWaH? Absolutely not! It is because of my destiny
in Messiah from the foundation of the world that I was already destined to
know his “set-apart name” as time went on. As long as we keep on moving with
the Holy Spirit as he continues to bring revelation, we are on the journey to
discovering his true name.

Four Spellings for the Name “Joshua” in the Hebrew TaNaKh

Often-times I hear from those within the “Sacred-Name” community who would
try to correct my spelling of the name “Yahuwshuwa.” They argue that the name
33
“Joshua” is only spelled with “one waw” in the TaNaKh (Old Testament) many
times, but it is spelled with “two waws” only twice in the TaNaKh.

But the reason for this is something called “defective spellings” by the scribes. The
scribes transcribed the name Joshua four different ways in the TaNaKh. The
majority of times, when they transcribed it, they left out one of the “waw’s” or
they left out one of the “heys.” There are only two places where they forgot to
remove the “waw” and that is where the name Joshua is spelled with two
waw’s instead of one “waw.” The name Yahuwshuwa has two waw’s in it
because Messiah was nailed to the tree for “Two house of Yisra’el.” The Hebrew
letter “waw” is seen as follows in Ancient Paleo Pictograph letters: ‫ו‬

As you can see, the Hebrew letter “waw” looks like a tent peg or a nail. This
symbol represents the “nail” that was used to nail our Messiah to the tree. Since
he died for both “Jew & Gentile” (Ephrayim & Judah), then it only stand to
reason that his name has “two nails” in it or “two waw’s” or “two tent pegs”
for “Two Houses of Yisra’el!”

That is why the name YaHuWShuWA should contain “two nails” (two waws)
as ‫יהושהע‬

I have seen the name Joshua spelled four different ways in the TaNaKh:

Yahuwshuwa
Yahuwsha
Yahshuwa
Y’shuwa

As you can see, these “defective spellings” by the scribes have removed either one
of the “waws” (the nail), or one of the “heys” (the breath or spirit). So which spel-
ling is correct? Well, in my opinion, the spelling that appears the least amount
of times is the correct one, because it shows that they intentionally meant to
shorten these names, due to the ban on the Father’s name, but in two places,
they forgot to shorten it, hence the Father allowed the name to appear the cor-
rect way so that we could know our Messiah’s name! Also, the fact that there
are “two nails” to the “Yahuwshuwa” spelling tells us that this has to be correct,
due to the prophetic meaning behind it.

34
Additionally, we know that this represents “six” Hebrew letters and as I already
illustrated, the Son’s name contains “six letters” for the number of “man” and
man was created on the 6th day, as he was “the son of man.” The Father’s name
contains “four letters” for his name represents the first four of the Ten Comm-
andments which show us how to “love YaHuWaH with all of our heart, mind, soul,
and strength.” The son’s name points us to the last “six” of the Ten Command-
ments that teaches us how to “love our neighbor as ourselves.”

The Letter U, V or W?

Occasionally, I will encounter those who would argue that we should never use
the English letter “W” to represent the Hebrew letter “waw” as they argue that
the letter “U” more accurately represents the 6th Hebrew letter “uau” (waw).
The Hebrew letter ‫“ ו‬waw” (uau) doubles as a vowel sound of the “long u” as
well as the consonant of the “W” sound, making it sound like “who.” The Heb-
rew letter “waw” is the equivalent for the Greek letter “Upsilon,” but later on,
the Romans removed the “tail” from the Greek Upsilon to make it look like the
letter “V.”

Pictured left is the Greek letter “Upsilon” which looks

identical to our English letter “Y,” and also the Hebrew letter “waw” (uau, vav)
which is where the Greek Upsilon originated from as seen by the illustration.
The Greek Upsilon makes the “long u” just like the Hebrew “waw” sound. The
Romans later on removed the tail, making it appear like a “V” in Latin. But it
still made the “long u” sound for a long time, until eventually, it began to make
the “Vee” sound. That is how the Jewish people of Europe allowed the Roman
“V” to supplant the Hebrew “waw” in many words. The Hebrew letter “beyt”
(equivalent to the English B) also was replaced by the Roman “V” in many
Modern Hebrew words. Words like “Abib” (Exodus 13:4) in Modern Hebrew is
“Aviv.” Words like Abi (father) is today pronouned “Avi” for father.

This website by B. Earl Allen explains more about the history behind the
letters W, U & V. http://yahushua.net/YAHUWAH/chapter_07.htm

35
See his explanation below:

Was the sixth Hebrew letter ‫( ו‬waw) developed from two uu’s put together? Of
course not! However, it is true that our English “W” developed from two uu’s
or vv’s put together; this is why it is called “double u.” But we English-speaking
people have to use this letter “W” to convey the ancient sound of ‫( ו‬waw) in
Hebrew and (wow) in Arabic etc.

The Oxford English Dictionary lists two column’s worth of information about
the English “W,” explaining how it developed from two uu’s put together, then
a statement toward the end:

”1869 ELLIS E.E. Pron, I. iii. 187 In Europe (w) is thought to be peculiar to
England. In Arabic however, “w” is quite at home.”

“. . . the sound of ‫( ו‬waw), a long time ago, wasn’t ‘vav’ at all; but ‘w,’ and ‘w’ is weak.
. . The Yemenite Jews of Arabia, who retain an ancient, correct and pure pronunciation
of Hebrew, still pronounce the ‫( ו‬waw) as ‘w’ as does Arabic, the close sister language
of Hebrew.”----How the Hebrew Language Grew p. 29, 30

Why do many Jews today contend that the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is
a V? According to the-----Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament, and other
reference materials, it is because of German influence.

“The German (Ashkenazic) influence arose within the last 1800 years, after the Jews
were dispersed in 135 CE. As Jewish communities gradually developed in Eastern,
Central and Western Europe, German influence eventually made its mark on the
Hebrew language.”----The Sixth Letter is Waw (study by Voy Wilks 3/3/96)

“There are, generally speaking, two main pronunciations: the Ashkenazi, or German,
originated by Central and Eastern European Jews, carried to all countries to which
those Jews have emigrated (Western Europe, America, etc.); and the Sephardi, or
Spanish, used by the Jews of Spanish or Portuguese stock in Europe and America and
also by Jews from Oriental countries. In all the universities and throughout Israel, the
Sephardic pronunciation has been adopted, since it is generally believed that this is the
pronunciation nearest to the original....”----Biblical Hebrew p. 33 by Menahem
Mansoor

36
The shape of the letter V came from the design on the back of the cobra. But
when did the sound “V” come into use? Consider the following argument: The
original set-apart name was pronounced Yahuwah (which we will seek to prove
in the continuation of this book). Clement of Alexandria (c.150-c.215) transliter-
ated from the original set-apart name of the Hebrew language into Greek as
(Iaoue), the Greeks had a tendency to put an “e” on the end of names, as seen in
the New Testament, which only the KJV points out. Names like Noe (Matthew
24:37), Osee (Rom 9:25), Jude (NT Book), Core (Jude 11) etc; which, according to
the Old Testament, were Noah, Hosea, Judah, and Korah. But obviously Clem-
ent was transliterating from the Hebrew at a time when the had a “W” sound.
Later on, Theodoret (c.390-455) and Epiphanius (c.315-404) transliterated the
set-apart name as (Iabe); a couple of hundred years had passed since Clement,
and they must have been transliterating at the time that the Hebrew had adopt-
ed the “V.”

Original Hebrew Name: YaHuWaH ‫יהוה‬

Clement transliterates into Greek: Iaoue

Later Theodoret & Epiphanius: Iabe

Probably transliterating from Hebrew with “v” YAH VAH “From Latin v, which
was at first bilabial (voiced like ‘b’ using the lips), but became labiodental (using the
bottom lip to the teeth) in the 2d century A.D.”

So, from the quote above, we learn that even in Latin the “V” did not come into
use until the second century, and also comparing Clement with Theodoret and
Epiphanius, using Iaoue and labe, we can see when this change of “V” came in.
But the question we must ask is: “What pronunciation did ‫( ו‬waw) have when the
Creator spoke the ten commandments from Mt. Sinai? What about the Hebrew that
Abraham spoke? Or Noah? Or Adam, which he had learned from YHWH Himself?”

Obviously, it was the more ancient pronunciation that our English “W” con-
veys, which even the American Indians retained in their language from the
original; for at one time, “the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech”
(Genesis 11:1). Place names in America bare this out, such as Waxahachie Tex,
Nowata Ok, Hiawassee Ga, Wewoka Ok, Iowa etc.

37
“... The Hebrew letter ‫( ו‬waw) can function as a consonant or a vowel. When the waw
is a consonant, it sounds like w, as in water, and usually has a vowel sign under it. . .
When the “waw” functions as a vowel, it has the sound of “o” as in “row” or “oo” as
in “pool.” With a dot above it, the “waw” sounds like “o” as in “row.” With a dot in
its center, the waw sounds like “oo” as in pool…”

*Note: This dot in the center of the “waw” is not a daghesh (a dot in the center
that indicates that the letter is doubled, in such a case a vowel mark is also
beneath that letter)... When a “waw” functions as a vowel, sounded “o” or “oo”,
it does not have the sound of “w” as in water. The ‫“ י‬yud,” like the ‫“ו‬waw”
can be both vowel and consonant.”---- A Simple Approach To Old Testament
Hebrew, p. 9

“The Semitic ‫( ו‬waw) and ‫( י‬yud) are certainly, by usage, consonants; although by
nature they are vowels, viz. u and i and consequently are consonantal vowels.”---
Gesenius’ Hebrew Grammar p. 26

There is a structural system in Hebrew, depending on the arrangement, wheth-

er it was a vowel or a consonant; which existed before vowel points were used,
also during the time when the paleo-waw ‫ו‬was used which is the equivalent to
the Greek Upsilon γ.

The point to be made is this: “Was our Creator influenced by the German (Ashke-
nazi) speech, when He delivered His name on Mt. Sinai?” Of course not! Man is
notorious for altering that which has gone out of the Creator’s lips (Review Ps. 89:34).
He made it plain, “I change not.” Malachi 3:6, thus we understand that the Creator was
not the one who changed the paleo-waw ‫ו‬to a vav. In the Father of lights, there “is no
variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17).

Likewise with his only begotten Son “YaHuWShuWA the Messiah the same
yesterday, and today, and forever”(Hebrew 13:8).

Not only did the Jews change the waw (W) to vav (V), but in recent times, they
have also changed the Hebrew letter beyt ‫( ב‬B) to vav (V) as well. Therefore,
Abraham becomes Avraham, and Yacob becomes Yacov, Tel Abib becomes Tel
Aviv, and everyone gets confused. At this website below, more detailed infor-
mation can be found showing why we must use the English letter “W” to repre-
sent the Hebrew letter “waw.”

So Let’s Recap

We have discovered that the Rabbis began to place a ban on using the sacred
name of our Creator. Hence, the name of Y-H-W-H had not been pronounced
for many centuries.

In the 1600’s, King James hired the Masorites (Hebrew Scribes) to transcribe the
Hebrew Scriptures into English. The Masorites inserted English vowel points
into the name Y-H-V-H back in the 10th Century, and this is how they came up
with YeHoVaH in the Lenningrad Codex (the oldest Hebrew Manuscript with
vowels). But the “vee” sound or the Hebrew letter “vav” had once been pron-
ounced as a “waw.” At the end of the names of prophets, the first three letters
to the Father’s name is seen as “YaHuW.”

Examples are:

Isaiah = YeshaYaHuW
Jeremiah = YirmeYaHuW
Elijah = EliYaHuW
Nathaniel = NatanYaHuW

But in Modern Hebrew, a new grammatical rule was invented known as the
pre-tonal shortening rule which states that when the Father’s name comes at the
beginning of a name, it changes from “YaHuW” to a “YeHoW.”

This “pretonal shortening rule” did not exist in the days when YaHuWaH
revealed himself to Mosheh and the Prophets. Hence, the names of the prophets
would’ve been spelled differently in Ancient Hebrew than they are today in
Modern Hebrew.

Examples are seen as follows:

Joshua = Yehoshua = Yahuwshuwa (ancient Hebrew)

Jonathan = Yehonathan = Yahuwnathan (ancient Hebrew)
Jehovah = Yehovah = Yahuwah (ancient Hebrew)

39
The Name of YaHuWaH Seen in the Tribe of YaHuWDaH or Judah

In John 4:22, Yahuwshuwa told the Samaritan woman at the well that salvation
comes from the House of Yahuwdah (Judah). In the King James Version we
read:

“You worship you know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the
Yahuwdiy (Jews).”

When we read this, many automatically think that he is telling us that salvation
can be found in the the religion of Judaism. But that is not what our Messiah
was declaring. In order to understand what he was telling her, we must go back
to the original prophecy of the first man named Judah, the 4th son of Jacob &
Leah:

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 49: (King James Version)

8 Yahuwdah (Judah) you are he whom your brethren shall praise: your hand shall
be in the neck of your enemies; your father’s children shall bow down before you.

9 Yahuwdah (Judah) is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, you are gone up: he
stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

10 Thesceptre shall not depart from Yahuwdah (Judah), nor a lawgiver from
between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the
people be.

*Note: this prophecy has a dual meaning. Not only is this referring to the tribe
of people known as the Yahuwdiy (Jews) in the last days, but it is also referring
to Messiah Yahuwshuwa who is the embodiment of the Tribe of Yahuwdah.
Revelation 5:5 calls him “The Lion of the Tribe of Yahuwdah” (Judah). What
exactly does this word “Jew”mean? The Hebrew Strong’s Concordance gives
the definition for the word “Jew” as follows:

#3064. Yhuwdiy yeh-hoo-dee’ patronymically from 3063; a Jehudite (i.e. Judaite

or Jew), or descendant of Jehudah (i.e. Judah):--Jew.

The term “Jew” also comes from a tribe of people known as Judah:

40
#3063. Yhuwdah yeh-hoo-daw’ from 3034; celebrated; Jehudah (or Judah), the
name of five Israelites; also of the tribe descended from the first, and of its
territory:--Judah.

But this word comes from a root word:

#3034. yadah yaw-daw’ a primitive root; used only as denominative from 3027;
literally, to use (i.e. hold out) the hand; physically, to throw (a stone, an arrow)
at or away; especially to revere or worship (with extended hands); intensively,
to bemoan (by wringing the hands):--cast (out), (make) confess(-ion), praise,
shoot, (give) thankful, thankgiving.

Now let us look at the Hebrew Letters in the name Judah:

Yod, Hey, Waw, Daleth, Hey

You will notice that the name YaHuWuDaH (Judah) has five Hebrew letters
and they are the very same letters in our Heavenly Father’s name YaHuWaH
but with one additional letter added. It is the 4th letter in the Hebrew Alphabet
called “dalet.” The letter “dalet” means “the door.”

Yahuwshuwa Messiah is from the House of YaHuWDaH and he is prophet-

ically called “the door:”

Yahuwchanon (John) 10:7 Then said Yahuwshuwa unto them again, Verily, verily, I
say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

Yahuwchanon (John) 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be
saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Now in order to understand fully what he means by this, we have to go back to

the Tabernacle of Mosheh (Moses) and see that there were three entrances into
the Tabernacle. They are called “the gate, the door and the veil.” (Exodus 38:18-
19, Exodus 36:37-38, Exodus 36:35-36).
Yahuwchanon (John) 14:6 Yahuwshuwa said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and
the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.

41
You see, the nick name for “the gate, the door and the veil” (the three entrances
into the tabernacle) were called “the way, the truth, and the life!”

Yahuwshuwa was declaring that he is the way into the Holy of Holies! The
Melchizedek Priesthood comes from the Tribe of Yahuwdah (Hebrews 7:14). If
our Messiah was not born into the Tribe of Yahuwdah, then he cannot be our
High Priest after the order of Melchizedek! Ya’aqob’s (Jacob’s) son Yahuwdah
(Judah) was given the priestly and kingly “scepter” of a lawgiver. Judah also
became the “kinsmen redeemer” for Tamar in Genesis 38.

In Genesis 38, we read about Tamar who was a widow. She typifies the Ten
Northern Tribes of Yisra’el who became a widow (Isaiah 54). But her Father-in-
law Yahuwdah (Judah) became her “kinsmen redeemer” by impregnating her
with twins (symbolic of the Two Houses of Yisra’el).

Yahuwdah (Judah) promised to send his son Shelah to marry Tamar but in-
stead, Judah himself (the Father) became the kinsmen redeemer! This is a pic-
ture of the Heavenly Father promising to send his son as the kinsmen redeemer
for the nation of Yisra’el, but the Father himself came down, put on human flesh
and became the “first-born” son as a representation of the nation of Yisra’el.

The Father & the Son are seen in the “Twin Goats” for Yowm Kippur. The Father
is seen as the “sacrificial goat” who is the perfect, sinless sacrifice. But the “scape-
goat” is seen in the Son who is the “innocent party who takes the place of the guilty
party” (Yisra’el). Messiah came as a representation of the nation of Yisra’el (the
firstborn son who was guilty). Romans 8:3 says that he came in the “likeness of
sinful flesh” even though he never sinned. You see, in order for him to be the
perfect sacrifice, he had to be 100% YaHuWaH Elohiym, and he also had to be
100% human to die in the place of “sinful mankind.”

Messiah had to be born into the Tribe of Yahuwdah (Judah) in order to be the
“kinsmen redeemer” for the nation. What is a kinsmen redeemer? When a woman
becomes a widow, and she has no son to carry on the name of her dead hus-
band, a close relative of the woman’s dead husband may marry her and give
her a son. That son will then raise up the name and inheritance for the dead
husband of that widow (Deuteronomy 25:5).

42
Ya’aqob (Jacob) chose his 4th son named Yahuwdah (Judah) to be the “kinsmen
redeemer” for the other eleven tribes of Yisra’el (see Genesis 49:9-10). Therefore,
the only way that our Messiah could be the legitimate “kinsmen redeemer” for the
divorced and widowed Tribes of Yisra’el is if he was born into the Tribe of
YaHuWDaH!

In Romans 2:26-29, the Apostle Sha’uwl (Paul) explained that we are part of the
Tribe of Yahuwdah (Judah) when our hearts are circumcised and we obey
Towrah. Being a Yahuwdiy (Jew) is not merely about ethnicity or following a
religion. Being a Yahuwdiy (Jew) is about sojourning with the Messiah himself
who is a Yahuwdiy (Jew) and that qualifies us to join his tribe, just as Ruth
joined the Tribe of Yahwudah when she went back to Bethlehem-Judah with
her mother-in-law, Naomi. When she sojourned with her back to Judah, she
joined the Tribe of Yahuwdah (Judah) without joining a Jewish Synagogue and
having a Bat-Mitzvah!

That is how Ruth (a Gentile) was able to be married to Boaz (a Jew) when it says
in the Towrah that an Yisraelite may not marry a Moabite. But Ruth “crossed
over” and became a Yahuwdiy (Jew) simply by sojourning with a Yahuwdiy
(Jew) according to Ezekiel 47:22.

The bride must join the Tribe of her husband, just like Ruth who went to
Bethlehem-Judah with Naomi and she “sojourned” with her and she therefore
joined the Tribe of Judah. That is the reason why she was able to marry Boaz
who was also from Yahuwdah (Judah).

See the article entitled “The Father & the Son Seen in Judah theKinsmen
Redeemer.”

That is why Yahuwshuwa said to the woman at the well “salvation is of the
Yahuwdiy.” That is why the prophecy over Yahuwdah says “unto him shall the
gathering of the people be.” This is an end-time prophecy about Messiah, but it
is also about a tribe of people who follow him wherever he goes (Revelation 14).
In Ezekiel 47:22-23 we are told that any stranger could join any tribe of Yisra’el
of their choosing, simply by “sojourning” with them. In other words, by keep-
ing the same commandments and by serving the same Creator YaHuWaH, they
would be every bit as much a part of that tribe as one who is born among them.
If we are walking with Messiah Yahuwshuwa (sojourning with him), and we
43
have his blood (life) in us according to John 6:53-54, we literally become part the
tribe of Yahuwdah!

Galatiym (Galatians) 3:29 And if you be Messiah’s, then are you are Abraham’s
seed (sperma), and heirs according to the promise.

Romiym (Romans) 2:

28 Forhe is not a Yahuwdiy (Jew), which is one outwardly; neither is that

circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 Buthe is a Yahuwdiy (Jew), which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of

the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of
Elohiym.

What does all of this mean? It means that Yahuwshuwa Messiah is the door to
salvation and if we walk in his footsteps and obey his commandments we
become part of his tribe. We are Yahuwdiy (Jews) not by joining a man-made
religion that follows man-made traditions.

But we are in the tribe of YaHuWDaH because this is the tribe of people who
“follow the lamb wherever he goes” and they “sojourn” with him. If we are
born-again by the blood of the Lamb, then we are going to be married into his
tribe!

The Tribe of YaHuWDaH has the Father’s name written in their foreheads:

Chazown (Revelation) 14

1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Tziyown (Zion), and with him an
hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their
foreheads (YHWH).

4 These are they which were not defiled with women (the woman mother harlot church);
for they are virgins (undefiled by the mother harlot church). These are they which
follow (sojourn with) the Lamb whithersoever he goes. These were redeemed from
among men, being the firstfruits unto Elohiym and to the Lamb.

44
5 Andin their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of
Elohoym.

Please refer to my article entitled “Who Are the 144,000?”

Below is an end-time prophecy about the Messiah who is the Lion of the Tribe
of Yahuwdah (Revelation 5:5) and he is now returning on a white horse in Rev-
elation 19:8-14 with his bride and his garment is dipped in blood and his bride
also has washed her wedding garments in his blood (Revelation 7:14). The don-
key is also a metaphor of backslidden, stiff-necked Yisra’el whom he redeemed
as his first-born with the Passover Lamb sacrifice (Exodus 13:13, Numbers 22:32,
Zechariah 9:9, Matthew 21:2, Luke 14:15).

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 49:

11 Binding
his foal unto the vine, and his donkey’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed
his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.

The Number 4 Seen in Yahuwdah (Judah)

It is no sheer accident that Judah was the 4th son born to Jacob & Leah and
Messiah came to us in the 4th Millennium to become our Passover Sacrifice. He
was also crucified on the 4th day of the week (Wednesday) and the letter
“dalet” (the door) is the 4th letter in the Hebrew Alphabet!

The Father’s name that we call upon for salvation is YaHuWaH and the tribe
of YaHuWDaH (Judah) has the very same letters in it with the added letter
“dalet” which means “the door.” Therefore, the name common to both the
Father and the Son are the first three letters YaHuW, and the door to the Father
is Messiah YaHuWshuwa. He is the door of salvation!

Mishley (Proverbs) 18:10 The name of YHWH is a strong tower: the righteous run
into it, and are safe.

*Note to the reader:

In all of my articles, I am quoting from the 1634 King James Version of the Bible,
(unless otherwise stated). However, I have updated archaic words such as “thee, thou,
art, hitherto, thy, thine” etc. I have also restored the sacred names of deity as they
have been removed 7,000 times from the original Hebrew Scriptures. Instead of “the
LORD” I use four English letters to represent the four Hebrew letters in our Creator’s
name: Yod, Hey, Waw, Hey as YHWH (called the Tetragrammaton). I have inserted
lower case letters into YaHuWaH to aid in pronunciation. The word “God” has been
restored to the Hebrew “Elohiym”, and the Messiah’s name has been restored from
“Jesus” to ancient Hebrew for “Joshua” which is represented by six Hebrew Letters:
Yod, Hey, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin (YHWSWA). I spell the name of our Messiah as
Yahuwshuwa which can be seen in the Strong’s Hebrew Concordance #3091. The
modern spelling is Yehowshuwa because of something called “the pre-tonal shortening
rule” that was purposely invented to conceal the name of our Heavenly Father. After the
Babylonian Captivity, the House of Judah deliberately placed a “ban” on pronouncing
the name of our Creator and today in Judaism, they simply refer to him as “ha’Shem”
(the name) or “Adonai” (master). But scripture commands us to “call upon the name of
YHWH” for salvation (Joel 2:32, Romans 10:13). Hence this “ban” on pronouncing the
name of our Creator is a violation of the 3rd Commandment “you shall not take the name
of YHWH in vain.” That word for “vain” means “to make his name empty.” Also, for
the title “Messiah” I use the Hebrew word Mashiyach from the Hebrew text the letters
appear as: Mem, Shin, Yod, Chets (MSYC). Also, there are many names of patriarchs
and biblical personalities whose names contain the first three letters of our Father’s
name (called the trigrammaton). Examples of these names are: YaHuW’ceph (Joseph),
YaHuW’shuwa (Joshua), YaHuW’chanon (John), YaHuW’nathan (Jonathan),
EliYaHuW (Elijah), YirmeYaHuW (Jeremiah), YeshaYaHuW (Isaiah), have the first
three letters to the Creators name in them. I have restored those names where ever
possible and I also include the Hebrew names for books of the Bible with the English
name in parenthesis. In Modern Hebrew, the Creator’s name has been removed, from
many of these names and they have been shortened to: Y’shua (Joshua), Yosef (Joseph),
Yonathan (Jonathan) etc. The reason for this is because in the Jewish Talmud there is a
man-made law that enforces a “ban” on pronouncing the sacred name of our Creator.
This is against the scriptures, as we are commanded not to “add nor remove” words
from the original inspired scriptures (see Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32, Proverbs 4:6,
Revelation 22:18-19). Why should this matter? In Zephaniah 3:9 we read an important
end-time prophecy about how YaHuWaH is going to restore the human race back to a
“pure language” so that we may all “call upon him with one consent.” That pure
language is Ancient Hebrew as we find that our Creator actually created the Hebrew
Alphabet at Creation. Here is how it reads in the original Hebrew Old Testament:
46
Bereshiyth (Genesis) 1:1 In the beginning Elohiym created‫ את‬ALEF & TAW the
heaven (shamayim) and ‫ ואת‬WAW, ALEF & TAW the earth (erets).

The first and last letter of the Hebrew Alphabet is called the “Alef” (A) and the
“Taw” (T). These letters are seen in Ancient Paleo Hebrew Pictographs as “the
red heifer” or the ox head ‫א‬and the two sticks (the cross) ‫ת‬

The letter “Waw” is a picture of the “nail” or the “tent peg.” Hence, the message
in these three letters is: “the red heifer sacrifice, the nail, and the cross!” Since
there are 22 Letters in the Hebrew alphabet, and YaHuWaH created us in his
image and by the “spoken word” (made up of letters) these letters contain
“frequencies” by which everything in the material world exists! That is why
there are 22 strands in the human DNA!

In Revelation 1:8, 1:11, 21:6, 22:13, the Messiah is called “the Alef & Taw” (Alpha &
Omega) in Greek. The entire Hebrew Alphabet is a schematic of him! Hence the reason
why being restored to the Edenic Language from creation is part of the “restoration of
all things” (Acts 3:21).
