SAINT CLAIRSVILLE - The W.J. Sheet Music Comapny’s Executive Board &
Organ Selection Committee have come to a decision regarding the new Studio
Organ, and whose to be installing it.
It has been declared, that W.J. Sheet Music Company would acquire a
Historique IIIa, manufactured by the Allen Organ Company and would be
installed by Gerrero-Kirk Organ Company.
The selection process was rather extensive, having recordings from multiple
organ companies being sent over for the committee to listen to, and see what
sounds they did or did not enjoy,
“One thing that puts Allen Organ above the rest,” says Badyn Woodford,
CEO and head of the Organ Selection Committee, “is the GeniSys voices. These
allow me, or any other visiting organist, to have up to 214 digital stops that be
programmed on to a stop tablet labeled ‘1-8’ (2 per division on a 3-manual
instrument). These sounds include normal orchestral instruments, but also SFX
including a Helicopter, Cannon-shots, Applause, Phone Ring, Bird Tweet… and
eight different drum kits.”
A detailed specification for the organ has been included with this statement.
