CAPSTONE PROJECT

Example
Note from the
Academic Assistant Principal

 This Power Point presentation was created to help and

guide my 2016 Cohort students as they make history at
Burke County High School. They are the very first
graduating class to complete a Capstone Project through
their 12th Grade Literature classes. The actual copies of
the examples in this Power Point are located in my
office. Students are welcome to come to my office to
review the exemplars. Because portfolios and products
do not belong to me personally, they cannot be loaned.
Please note that the pictures are similar. Meaning,
students should refer to their BCHS Capstone Project
Handbook for the actual forms. Finally, I hope that
students find this information helpful as they complete
their senior project.

Because the student’s project was performance based, she felt that the
scrapbook pictures did not capture her journey with her mentor well.
Therefore, she also included a DVD and CD of practices and performances.
These two documents were additional products that were located in the back o
the scrapbook.
