    RE: Application for Issuance of Tax Exemption Ruling.

    Sir:

    The BLISS MAGATOK HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION was duly constituted under Republic Act
    (R.A.) No. 9904 or the Magna Carta for Homeowners and Homeowners’ Associations and
    complied with the Section 3 (b) of the RA 9904, a non-stock, non-profit organization
    registered with the HLURB (copy of the registration is hereby attached for your reference)

    Section 30) of the NIRC states that the following organization shall not be
    taxed under this Title in respect to income received by them as such:

    ( C ) A beneficiary society, order or association, operating for the exclusive


    benefit of the members such as a fraternal organization operating under
    the lodge system, or a mutual aid association or a non-stock corporation
    organized by employees providing for the payment of life, sickness,
    accident, or other benefits exclusively to the members of such society,
    order, or association, or non-stock corporation or their dependents.

    In this regard, the HOA would like ask for issuance of Tax Exemption Ruling based on the
    above-cited provision of law.
