Sub: Application under Right to Information Act, 2005
Dear Sir,
Kindly provide me with the following information requested under the purview of the
Right to Information Act, 2005:
1. What are the actions have been taken by RBI to decrease inflation rate from last five
year?
2. Services provided by the nationalized bank are very poor as compare to private sector
bank, what is the role of RBI to improve that?
3. List of the loans/funds provided by the RBI to different banks in India from last five year.
4. Interest on different loans (e.g. education loan, home loan, vehicle loan etc.) provided by
the commercial banks are differ, why RBI is not interfering to make a balance in these?
5. What are the steps taken by the RBI to restrict duplicity of currency?
6. Why the foreign direct investment in insurance sector is only 26% while in the banking
sector it is 49%.
7. RBI works as a banker of government, so how much loan it has provided to the
government for last five year and for what purpose?
8. RBI manages to achieve the objectives of Foreign Exchange Management, 1999, so up to
what extend it has achieved it?
9. CRR rate is managed according to the inflation condition of India but from last few years
it is continuously increasing what is the reason behind it?
10. RBI works to achieve the objective of price stability and economic development but both
are very far from destination, so where the RBI is lacking?
