1. OBJECTIVE

The objective of the present analysis is to know the behavior of the Skid for the "Instrument Air
Compressor Skate" during the lifting maneuver, which is expressed through efforts and displacements
to ensure that said behavior is in the acceptable ranges for the regulations used, as well as the design
of the rigging system

2. SCOPE

The scope of this document focuses on showing the considerations during the vertical lift analysis of
the Skid for its placement in its final site, as well as clearly showing the results obtained from said
analysis, including technical information that allows to properly interpret the results of the analysis. this
analysis.

3. DEVELOPMENT

The lifting analysis of the structural Skid of the "Instrument Air Compressor Skate" was carried out as
described in this document, and is based on the specifications and standards, technical requirements,
criteria and the analyzes to be performed.

4. REFERENCES
.
The applicable technical information (standards, design codes and manuals) that has been used for
the analysis and design of the Skid, is the one indicated below.

5. CONSIDERATION OF ANALYSIS

The present analysis of hoisting has been done according to the following considerations:

1. The dimensions and geometry are in correspondence with the planes IR-PT01-CI-
DRG-002 REV_0, corresponding to the structural arrangement of the skid (dimensions
and weights).

2. The lifting of the skid will be done with the help of a space bar, for this, the modeling of
said bar is necessary

3. The basic loads considered in the analysis are the Skid's own weight, load of
equipment and dead load; the load combinations include the contingency factors
corresponding to the lift.

4. It has been considered an hoisting system consisting of four cables "Ø steel cables
connected to the lifting points in the structure in its lower part, and in its upper part
connected to a lifting bar. The lifting bar is attached to the hook of the crane (Board
0000 of the model) by two cables of 1 ¼ "Ø.

5. The node corresponding to the hook of the crane has been modeled as a simple
support, restricting its displacements in (X, Y, Z) (111000).

6. The lifting cables have been modeled as tubular elements that take only axial tension
load.

7. Lifting ears have not been included in the model since they will be designed
independently by means of spreadsheets.

7.4. SKID INCLINATION.

For standard lifting situations, the inclination of the object to be hoisted must not exceed 2% in both
longitudinal and transverse directions. The inclination must be verified once the geometry of the lifting
arrangement is defined and the position of the C.o.G.

So the displacement of C.o.G. horizontal allowed (ecog) to maintain the inclination within this 2% will
be then.

Below are the calculations of the inclination of the structure during the lifting maneuver, in the
longitudinal (X axis) and transverse (Y axis), however, in the analysis the hook has been placed in the
position of the coordinates X & Y of the load center, so the theoretical slope is zero, as described
below

Eventually, the installer of the Superstructure should verify the actual inclination of the structure based
on the rigging arrangement that will be used.

7.5. SKID ENTRY FILES.

For standard lifting situations, the inclination of the object to be hoisted must not exceed 2% in both
longitudinal and transverse directions. The inclination must be verified once the geometry of the lifting

9. DESIGN OF EARS OF LIFTING.

In this section the corresponding revision is made in the lifting points that involve the Skid as well as
the rigging.

The lifting cables must comply with a minimum safety factor of 4.0 and must be selected based on the
maximum tension obtained from the analysis for the CDG load combination that is 3.64 Ton

11.4. INCLINATION OF SKID 2

For standard lifting situations, the inclination of the object to be hoisted must not exceed 2% in both
longitudinal and transverse directions. The inclination must be verified once the geometry of the lifting
arrangement is defined and the position of the C.o.G.

So the displacement of C.o.G. horizontal allowed (ecog) to maintain the inclination within this 2% will
be then.

Below are the calculations of the inclination of the structure during the lifting maneuver, in the
longitudinal (X axis) and transverse (Y axis), however, in the analysis the hook has been placed in the
position of the coordinates X & Y of the load center, so the theoretical slope is zero, as described
below.

Inclination Percentage Grades

Longitudinal 0.00% 0.0 °

Transversal 0.00% 0.0 °

Eventually, the installer of the Superstructure should verify the actual inclination of the structure based
on the rigging arrangement that will be used.

11.5. SKID 2 ENTRY FILES

For standard lifting situations, the inclination of the object to be hoisted must not exceed 2% in both
longitudinal and transverse directions. The inclination must be verified once the geometry of the lifting
arrangement is defined and the position of the C.o.G.

13. DISEÑO DE OREJAS DE IZAJE. SKID 2

this section corresponding is made in the lifting points that involve the Skid as well as the rigging.

The lifting cables must comply with a minimum safety factor of 4.0 and must be selected based on the
maximum tension obtained from the analysis for the CDG load combination that is 3.64 Ton

14. GENERAL CONCLUSIONS

In this section the corresponding revision is made in the lifting points that involve the Skid as well as
the rigging.

• The maximum displacements of the structure are within the allowable ones. The lateral loads that the
springs take are small, so the analysis is considered adequate.

• The lifting ears are designed with the maximum tension that is presented and the stress ratios are
less than one, so they are considered adequate.

• The diameter of the cable to be used for lifting this structure is 3/4 " with a load capacity of 24.60
Ton for the lower cables, and 1 1/4"  with a load capacity of 70.07 Ton,

• As a summary, it can be indicated that according to the results obtained from the hoisting analysis,
the structural behavior of the Skid during the lifting maneuver will be adequate in terms of efforts in
elements and displacements, as long as this maneuver is carried out with the proposed lifting system
