Work Experience
Software Developer for Campbell Lab, Yale University: May 2018 – Current
Developed OnlineMuscleSim, a web application for cardiac researchers. Users run complex
biological simulations in the cloud through Amazon Web Services hosted on an EC2 instance.
Used the Django framework for the website, which included coding in Python, HTML,
JavaScript, and CSS. MySQL was used for database management.
Traveled to Madison, Wisconsin, for the Myofilament Meeting. Gained valuable networking
skills and received feedback about OnlineMuscleSim.
Physics Undergraduate Learning Assistant, Yale University: September 19th 2017 – May
2018
Assist during the professor’s office hours to help physics students understand concepts and
solve problems.
Run one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to give students a more in-depth explanation
of course material.
Software Engineering Intern, Telephonics Corporation: June 5th – August 11th 2017
Ported software from Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 to Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. Involved a
large amount of C and C++ programming, along with Visual Basic and C#.
Became familiar with multiple software tools, such as the Tortoise SVN repository, Beyond
Compare, and internal debuggers.
Participated in leadership training programs and was required to present to senior management
about the project I worked on for the summer.
Manager, Olsen’s Nursery: March 2013 – June 2017
Started working at the age of fourteen and was promoted to Assistant Manager in 2014 and
Manager in 2015.
Tasks include assigning out work to other coworkers, selling plants, designing gardens for
customers, putting together plant orders from wholesalers, and running the store.
Designed and constructed an Aquaponics system for the nursery. Created a budget for approval
and tracked actuals as part of the initiative. Construction was completed within a summer, and
the system yielded an abundant supply of vegetables.
Private Tutor: October 2014 - 2015
Tutored High School students in AP Biology, Trigonometry, and Physics.

Conferences
Myofilament Meeting 2018
University of Wisconsin-Madison – Madison, WI:
 A three-and-a-half-day conference where
myofilament researchers from around the world gathered to discuss recent work and
publications. Each day consisted of many talks as well as group meals and opportunities to
network. Speakers included Michael Geeves, Malcolm Irving, and Corrado Poggesi.
