Welcome to

ALGARVE

Hello Ksenia!

We would like to welcome you to our property in sunny Algarve, Portugal.

Your time to arrive is almost here so we thought we’d share some important
and useful information about your stay.

Before we move any forward, here are your points of contact at any time
while you are in the Algarve (both available on Whatsapp as well):

Joana Castro: +351 914 394 975

Ricardo Sousa: +351 916 743 868

Now, to the good part:

YOUR ARRIVAL

You are set to arrive in our property on your own. The property has closed
parking facilities which you will be at your disposition during the stay. If you
arrive by taxi or Uber, feel free to use the address below. At your arrival Kelly
(who’s a great lady, although her english is rough on the edges) is there to
greet you, hand you the keys to the property and show you around the
house so you feel right at home.
THE PROPERTY

You will be staying in a T2 apartment inside “Clube do Lago” (literally Lake

Club), a closed condominium with pool and a lot of sun. You are free to use
the pool, although the usual working hours for this are: 8am to 9pm.

Please note although you might bring yours, we do provide beach/pool towels
for your comfort.

Here’s a little map of the area around where you are staying:

You are right between “Rua de Itália” and “Rua da Grécia”. You can enter the
property from both entrances on both streets (and the same remote works for
both). As a matter of convenience we’ve pointed some interesting stuff on the
map. A) is a supermarket that has the basics that you’ll likely need. B) is a
snack bar (right next to the supermarket) that provides a quick bite (but don’t
expect nothing fancy) and drinks. C) is the Hilton hotel, provided here both as
a reference point as well as a place where you might get a fancier (and likely
expensive) meal :) There is also a pizza place on D).

The house itself is in block B, 2nd stage, number 6. But worry not, Kelly will
show you the way and from there you will easily remember.

Inside you’ll have a few kitchen appliances and both a washing machine and a
dish washer that you can freely use. Also stored in the closet right next to the
kitchen entrance are a vacuum cleaner, a mop and a bucket. You can use
plates, forks, knives, anything you can find really :) Feel free to cook whatever
pleases you both on the oven and the stove.

Outside the apartment, just by the main entrance door you have a door on the
right that is a bathroom that is very useful when you are coming back from the
beach (or the pool) and want a quick shower. The keys for this have been
handed to you at check-in.

WHAT IS EXPECTED

You do not need to leave the house pristine clean at the end. The cleaning
materials and products that exist are there to help you in any emergency
(they do happen, right?) and not for you to feel obliged to leave the house
clean. We just ask any trash is put in the bins and overall the house is not
*incredibly dirty*. Anything else, we will take care of after your arrival.

WHAT WE HAVE / HAVE NOT

- We have bath towels for every guest.

- We have linen and pillows for all guests.
- We have complimentary provided you with family-size shampoo and bath
gel.
- We have toilet paper
- We have AC - feel free to use (you will need it)
- We have washing machine and dish washer that you are free to use. Some
detergent is provided but in case you might need more please call us.
- We have (only two though) pool towels.
- We do not have toothbrushes or other personal hygiene items.
- We do not have cleaning services during your stay. If you require one,
please get in touch for quotation.

OTHER RULES AND NOTES

- Please note you have one pair of keys only. Keep it in good company
(and be mindful the main entrance door tends to close rapidly, so a “quick”
walk
to the outside bath/shower might turn into a longer process).
- Whenever possible try not to smoke inside the house. The two beautiful
balconies provide a good alternative.
- Not that we think you would need, but we advise against using the fireplace
during the summer
- Please do not make noise or in any other way affect the other people living
in the apartments around ours.
- Note the maximum capacity allowed is indeed 5. Over this we will charge
75€/pp per day.
- It is forbidden to hang the towels to dry on the edge of the balcony outside
facing the pool / central garden. Please hang them on the chairs.
- It is also forbidden to bring kid toys to the pool.
- You might want to try and get a local SIM card. Rates are much better for
data. If you want help, please let us know.
