336E Advantage: Fuel Efficiency
The Deere 350G LC increased fuel consumption by 1 gph over the prior Deere D series due to fuel dosing for emissions. The Cat 336E L
300 hp engine consumes the same amount of fuel per hour as the Deere 350G LC @ 271 hp engine, which translates into the 336E L
delivering more production using the same amount of fuel.

• Max digging forces only available with Power Dig
button, limited to 8 seconds per push.
• Fuel dosing may require operator intervention and
possible stationary regeneration (downtime).
• Auxiliary and coupler circuits not fully integrated,
often require manual hydraulic adjustment.
• Does not have time delay lighting or MP3 capable
radio.
John Deere:
• Lower pressure hydraulic hose.
• Shorter bolts without spacers in the swing bearing
joint lessen clamping load.
• Single-walled sheet metal doors more susceptible
to damage, need manually installed door catches.
• Thinner bottom guards not as effective against
track debris and site material.
• Lighter gauge electrical wiring.
John Deere:
• Manual fuel priming pump may result in
technicians pre-filling filters during service.
• A partial firewall allows open access between
engine and pump compartments.
• Narrow platform in front of the engine, raised bolt
heads, sandpaper-type traction material.
• No case drain filter provided.
• Aftermarket quick coupler with controller
