PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN

IBU HAMIL TENTANG PENCEGAHAN PRE EKLAMSIA


DI PUSKESMAS PAALMERAH I
KOTA JAMBI TAHUN 2017

ABSTRAK

Menurut WHO terdapat sekitar 585.000 Ibu meninggal per tahun saat
hamil atau bersalin dan 58,1% diantaranya dikarenakan oleh pre eklamsia. Di
seluruh dunia, insiden atau kejadian pre eklamsia berkisar antara 2% - 10% dari
kehamilan. Frekuensi kejadian pre eklamsia di Indonesia sekitar 3-10%. Di
Indonesia pre eklamsia,pre eklamsia berat dan eklamsia merupakan penyebab
kematian ibu berkisar 15%-25%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang
pencegahan pre eklamsia.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre eksperimen pendekatan One Group
Pre dan Post test design. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus tahun 2017
dengan jumlah populasi 49 ibu hamil. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan
teknik Purposive Sampling sebanyak 13 responden. Data diperoleh dengan cara
wawancara menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat
dengan uji paired t-test.
Hasil penelitian dari 13 responden didapat rata-rata pengetahuan ibu hamil
sebelum dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan adalah 41,538 dengan standar deviasi
9,4962, dan rata-rata pengetahuan ibu hamil setelah mengikuti pendidikan
kesehatan adalah 57,446 dengan standar deviasi 12,329. Hasil uji statistik
menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan
ibu hamil tentang pencegahan pre eklamsia di Puskesmas Paalmerah I Kota
Jambi Tahun 2017 dengan p-value = 0,000 dan selisih nilai mean 15,907.
Diharapkan agar Puskesmas meningkatkan program penyuluhan tentang
pencegahan pre eklamsia pada ibu hamil melalui pelayanan antenatal care dan
kelas ibu hamil.

ABSTRACT

According to WHO there are approximately 585,000 mothers die each


year during pregnancy or childbirth and 58.1% of them are due to preeclampsia.
Worldwide, the incidence of preeclampsia ranges from 2% - 10% of pregnancies.
Frequency of occurrence of preeclampsia in Indonesia about 3-10%. In Indonesia
severe preeclampsia and eclampsia are the causes of maternal deaths ranging from
15% -25%. This study aimed to determine the effect of health education toward
knowledge of pregnant women about prevention of preeclampsia.
This is a pre experiment research by using one group pre and post test
design. This study was conducted on August year 2017 with populations were 49
pregnant women. Samples were 13 respondents by using Purposive Sampling
technique. Data obtained through interview by using questionnaire and analyzed
as univariate and bivariate with paired t-test.
The findings indicated that from 13 respondent’s average knowledge of
pregnant women before health education as many as 41.538 with standard
deviation 9.4962, and average knowledge of pregnant women after health
education as many as 57.446 with standard deviation 12.329. On the statistical test
indicated that there is the effect of health education toward knowledge of pregnant
women about prevention of preeclampsia at the public health center Paal Merah 1
Jambi city year 2017 with p-value = 0.000 and difference of mean value 15.907. It
is expected that to personnel of the public health center to improve extension
programs on prevention of preeclampsia in pregnant women through antenatal
care service.
