A. Installation of the Personal Computer Memory Card (PCMCIA)
(Ref. Fig. Removal / Installation of the Personal Computer Memory Cards (PCMCIA) SHEET 1)

NOTE: After the WGL-DAR displays the message 'INSERT NEW CARTRIDGE NOW' and the FAIL light is
on, the PCMCIA Card can be inserted.

NOTE: The PCMCIA cards must be in the correct position before you install them into the related slot.
If you use force to install the cards into the slots, you can cause damage to the equipment. The
black arrows on the card labels show the correct direction of installation.

(1) Make sure that the recorder door (7) is open.

(2) Insert the PCMCIA (2) until the right eject button (1) comes out.

NOTE: All this time the message SYSTEM WILL NOW REBOOT is displayed.

(3) The FAIL light goes off.

(4) Close the recorder door (7) and twist the knob (6).
