INTRODUCTION

The St. Dominic College of Asia portal have been with the school ever since,
as of year 2016 the newly revised portal system was introduced by our
graduated schoolmate Dilla, Gerhard P. and Relos, Shaira Mari V.

for their capstone subject thus improving the portal system to be user friendly
to us undergraduates. It was not long that the revised system was
implemented by the school thanks to our administrator. and it was much clean
and well design than the old system, and now for our subject Quality
Consciousness we have conducted a research to determine the response of
the students about the system.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM

St. Dominic College of Asia HEI Portal is a Higher

Education Institution Portal where all the information
that students need can be found in the portal. In
additional the system provided an online viewing of
grades function that let the students managed their
subjects according to their respective courses.
This portal helped the students to see the record of
payments. The portal also managed by the
administrators and accessible to the registered
students.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM

The SDCA HEI portal is a great help managing the

grades of the registered students. This portal is
considered the profile of information of the students to
know their grades and balance. The portal is not only
responsible of the grades of the students; but it is also
responsible for the suggestions or problems of the
students towards their grades or courses being
pursued.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM

The portal aims to give complete service that the

students need. The researchers want to improve the
environment inside the portal. The researchers
decided to create a system that provides their
priorities like Enrolled Class Schedule, Subject petition,
Administration Management and Event Calendar.

The SDCA HEI portal benefited the students by

providing a faster way to acquire the information
needed. This saved time and effort of the students.
The students notified by the portal through the
notification function. There was a notification if there
was update on events.

The St. Dominic College of Asia HEI portal lets

registered students access various functions that helps
them monitor their school record and payments as
well as manage their course. The system provided
convenience when information is needed and allows
the registered user to monitor subjects on their
respective courses.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM

With the enrolled subjects function, there would be

less effort and expense for the viewing. The St.
Dominic College of Asia HEI Portal is efficient to use as
it will provide all the needed school information for the
students, all accessible through the internet, which
means it took less time and effort to use. The class
schedule viewing on the portal saved time for the
student as it will no longer require the student to go
the campus, as a result, also convenient for the
student who go to the campus.

We conducted a survey to the students last May 12, 2018 Saturday at SDCA
Main Building 1st floor lobby and 5th floor around 2:15:24 PM.
We have a total of 28 responded, 13 female and 15 male students.
