Communication failure

Secara umum ada 3 keadaan disaat pesawat kehilangan kemampuan komunikasinya dengan stasiun lain
baik dengan atc maupun pesawat lain :

1. Pada waktu terbang vfr dan kondisi visual (vmc)


2. Pada waktu terbang ifr
3. Pada waktu terbang ifr dan kondisi below vfr (imc)

Pada saat vmc, jika pesawat mungkin:


- melanjutkan terbang di vmc
- mendarat di bandara terdekat yang memadai
- melaporkan kedatangan dengan cara yang paling cepat pada atc

Jenis communication failure


- Tx (transmit failure): tidak bisa bersuara, tetapi bisa mendengar
- Rx (resiptore failure): tidak bisa mendengar, tetapi bisa bersuara
Non radar environment Jika pesawat dalam kondisi vmc/imc, tapi penerbangannya memutuskan
tidak aman,didaerah yang tidak menggunakan radar maka pesawat harus:
 selama 20 menit setelah kegagalan komunikasi
- maintain last assigned speed
- maintain last assigned speed level or minimum safe altitude whichever is higher
 setelah itu meneruskan penerbangan sesuai dengan flight plan yang dikirimkan ke atc
didaerah yang atc menggunakan fasilitar radar, maka pesawat harus:
 selama 7 meniit setelah kegagalan komunikasi
- maintain last assigned speed
- maintain last assigned speed level or minimum safe altitude whichever is higher
 setelah itu meneruskan penerbangan sesuai dengan flight plan yang dikirimkan ke atc
Communication failure

In General, there are three circumstances when the plane lost communication capability with
other stations either by other aircraft or atc:

1. At the time of flying vfr and visual conditions (vmc)

2. At the time of flying ifr and visual conditions (vmc)

3. At the time of flying ifr and vfr conditions below (imc)

At the time of vmc, if the plane might be:

-continue flight in vmc

-land at the nearest airport are adequate

-report arrival by the fastest way on the atc

Types of communication failure

-Tx (transmit failure): can't speak but can hear

-Rx (resiptore failure): can't hear, but it can be voiced

A non-radar environment If the aircraft in vmc/imc, but operations were decided not safe,
the regions that do not use the radar plane then must:

for 20 minutes after communication failures

-maintain the last assigned speed

-maintain the last assigned speed level or minimum safe altitude whichever is higher

After that continue the flight in accordance with the flight plan sent to atc

the atc area using fasilitar radar, then the plane must:

for 7 meniit after communication failures

-maintain the last assigned speed

-maintain the last assigned speed level or minimum safe altitude whichever is higher

After that continue the flight in accordance with the flight plan sent to atc
