Context of the lesson


This lesson is the third lesson from unit 6: communication in grade 6 textbook and it is about identifying new
vocabulary (beat, cheer, disappear, enjoy and receive). The targeted class is grade 6f, girls.

Teaching goal
The students will be able to identify the new vocabulary (beat, cheer, disappear, enjoy and receive) through context.

Learning objectives
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: creating own sentences by using new vocabulary.

Assumptions about prior learning

 Most of the students may know some words but they don’t know meaning of words.

Anticipated problems and possible solutions

 PowerPoint might not work, I will display new vocabulary from flash cards and write sentence on board.

Personal focus for this lesson

 I will make sure the students get right definition for new vocabulary.
 I will create fun and effective activities to get deep understand for all words and let them use it on own
sentences.
 I will check the time for every step I planned it for the lesson.

 I will display one by one. Then ask student what do you see in picture? Who can read the
sentence? I will try to get definition of words from students.
 After display each sentence with focus on new vocabulary, I will display it on flash card to repeat
it 3 times. Then I will put it on board.
