Piles (Haemorrhoids)
Piles (Haemorrhoids) are a main indication for using Abhayarishta. Abhayarishtam reduces pressure in
the lower section of the large intestine, which helps reducing swelling of veins (hemorrhoids). Secondly,
the most common cause of piles is constipation. It also works on peristalsis movement, improves bowel
movement and removes constipation. In bleeding piles, Abhayarishtam should be used along with
Arshoghni Vati. In non-bleeding piles, it can use be along with Kankayan Gutika.

The most common cause of anal fissure is constipation and hard stool. In such case, Abhayarishta is very
useful for eliminating constipation and reducing habit of hard stools. In such case, cow’s ghee or almond
oil should be consumed in dosage of 1 teaspoon with warm water 30 minutes before taking it. This
remedy has excellent results in reducing occurrence of hard stools.

Local application for anal fissure is also necessary. Jatyadi Oil is best for local application because is

peristalsis movement, which helps in easier bowel movement.

Some people may not have hard stool, but experience difficulty in bowel movement. Generally, stool
becomes sticky and passes in very small quantity. In such cases, Abhayarishtam is beneficial for reducing
excess fats and mucus content in the stools, which produces stickiness and foul smell. In such cases, it

Haritaki as a main ingredient, which reduces intestinal gas, flatulence, and gaseous cramps in the
abdomen. It promotes proper elimination of excess gas from the intestines and checks it further
