Dear Providence College,

When given the opportunity to pursue my passion of working in intercollegiate athletics,

more than one hundred percent is given to take full advantage of the opportunity. I am
writing to express my interest in the Assistant Athletic Development position listed on
the career website of Providence College. I am enthusiastically seeking a position within
the Student-Athlete Academic Support Department to further utilize my skill set from
previous experiences and team-oriented mindset.

My collegiate athletic career in division II football began the process that I now consider
my passion. I am extremely familiar with the atmosphere of intercollegiate athletics and
understand what student-athletes need in order to succeed in all facets of their collegiate
career. With help from my degree in Sports Management, I am well equipped to be a
strong asset to the academic program. My experiences and knowledge of sports have
provided me to understand the guidelines and regulations and have provided me with the
confidence that illustrates that I can handle multiple responsibilities and successfully
meet deadlines.

Athletics has taught me essential skills that make me well suited for this position. Being a
student athlete at Johnson C. Smith and Slippery Rock University has helped me
understand the importance of performing to the best of my abilities and holding my
teammates accountable for contributing towards our team goals. I like to think that some
qualities cannot be taught. Passion, hard work ethic and leadership are qualities I hold
because of my time as a student-athlete and my past experiences. I would be happy to
