II. Gasabo investment

Gasabo- Invest will be conducting a 6 year infrastructure development project at Kimironko


worth USD95 million where they will do the following;-

- Build a modern market – At the current Police Station site.


- Build a modern bus terminal - Behind SIMBA Supermarket
- Build Modern apartments – along Kigali parent’s road.

The initial phase for the market and bus terminal will commence in July 2018 and to last for 16
months.

The opportunities for ITM:

- Recruit an Executive Director – priority


- Do Organisation assessment and recommend/propose the most appropriate
structure - Priority
- Labour hire opportunity through their recommendation to Vivaka
- HSE Training/SCM – GasaboInvest to recommend ITM to Vivaka

Way forward:

- Alex to develop a business proposal for GasaboInvest before end of month.


- Convene a meeting when Fabrice (GasaboInvest MD) returns back next month.

III. Kivuwatt

“Their goal is maximum availability of power (Safety), and second thing is safety (Potential for
training)”

The people they need to outsource are Cleaners, Cooks, Drivers, electricians, admin staff
and interns. KK is taking over the “Facilities management”

Problem Statement

- The company is moving from construction to production. They have 66 outsourced


employees.
- The current Labor hire provider is Q-Sourcing, and the provider cannot afford pre-
financing to cater for employees’ salaries.
- Local staff are not hygienic – need some training on personal hygiene.

The Opportunities for ITM:

1. HSE Training is bigger.


2. HR Strategy, after staff assessment.

The Solution:

- Training and needs assessment.

- Personal hygiene
- Basic health and safety training.
