Good day!

It is the season of love. This is also the season wherein promenades are typically celebrated.
We, the General Parent-Teacher Association Officers of Biñan Secondary School of Applied
Academics are initiating to hold a High School Night for the Grade 9 and 10 students of of
BSSAA on February 23, 2018. This is a ticketed activity and is considered as one of the
memorable high school moments for the grades 9 and 10 students.

This activity aims the following, (a) to provide a bequeathal ceremony that would allow the
current grade 9 and 10 students to formally exchange batch responsibilities for the succeeding
school year; (b) to provide a social event that allows students to differentiate between, and practice,
formal and informal interaction decorum; and (c) foster the development of musical, bodily-
kinesthetic and interpersonal skills of students through their own creation and performance of
musical production numbers.

As mentioned earlier in this letter, this activity is ticketed. Each student is entitled with one
ticket which costs 300.00 pesos. The total money from the tickets sold will be used to defray
the expenses for the said activity like food, stage, sound system and other incidental
expenses for the said activity. In case there will be proceeds, it will be used for rehabilitation
of the flag pole, procuring additional facilities for the reading hub, and purchasing of
additional tables and chairs for the school canteen.

On this regard, The General PTA Officers of Biñan Secondary School of Applied Academics
are seeking your approval to allow us to hold this worthwhile activity.

Attached hereto are the following: program, committees, parental consent, and PTA
resolution for the additional details of the said activity.

A RESOLUTION ON THE CONDUCT OF THE HIGH SCHOOL NIGHT FOR S.Y 2017-2018,
ON FEBRUARY 23, 2018 TO BE HEADED BY THE GRADE 10 AND GRADE 9 ADVISERS
AND PARENT-TEACHERS OFFICERS

WHEREAS, The the HIGH SCHOOL NIGHT shall be held to promote camaraderie among the
students of BIÑAN SECONDARY SCHOOL OF APPLIED ACADEMICS’ Grade 9
and 10 students;
WHEREAS, the said event shall be conducted as a fund raising activity for the improvement of the
stage for the moving up ceremony and other moving up ceremony expenses;
WHEREAS, the said event has been discussed and approved by the officers upon the consultation with
Mr. Jonar Olicia and Mr. Ramon Estoperes;
WHEREAS, the HIGH SCHOOL NIGHT shall be conducted on Feruary 23, 2018 from 5 pm to 4 am
at the BSSAA Gymnasium;
RESOLVED, the Grade 9 and 10 students shall voluntarily contribute an amount of THREE
HUNDRED PESOS (300.00) inclusive of food and drinks, and shall be used for other
event-related expenses;

RESOLVED, that the remaining proceeds shall be used for rehabilitation of the flag pole,
procuring additional facilities for the reading hub, and purchasing of
additional tables and chairs for the school canteen.
