A. Scope of work of MECON

1. Preparation of Technical specifications of following system:
 Intermediate reservoir
 Survey work to be carried out by external agencies
2. Technical assistance to Client for order placement on survey and liasoning agencies.
3. Evaluation of offers and appraisal report against the offers.
4. Technical assistance to Client for obtaining information from various department of GoO.
5. Preparation of Feasibility report, conceptual plan, budgetary estimates & tentative BOQ based on
the inputs from Client/survey & liasoning agencies.
6. Preparation of detailed project report and detailed estimates based on the inputs from
Client/survey & liasoning agencies.

B. Exclusions
1. Selection of permanent and perennial water source.
2. Collection of gauge readings & data, identifying the category of land, land availability for
reservoir, identification of least useful government land, north east coordinates from survey of
India etc.
3. Obtaining or communication with any Government agencies for data collection.
4. Study & mark out possible alignment for laying water line from identified source of Intake Well to
the plant location.
5. Finding out corresponding revenue drawings from respective Tehsil Office and compiling entire
stretch from Intake Well to Plant location.
6. Detailed topographical survey and pipe routing starting from Intake Well locations,
Intermediate reservoir and proposed site of plant, picking up all important physical features
falling on the proposed route.
7. Any type of survey or liasoning activity.

C. Assistance from Client

1. Order placement on survey and liasoning agencies.
2. Transfer of all data from survey and liasoning agencies to MECON as input for preparation of TS,
FR & DPR.
3. Transfer of all data collected from GoO related to the subject project.
4. Procurement activities based on the technical specification prepared by MECON.

D. Time schedule
1. Submission of FR - 60 days after receipt of all information / input from Client / various agencies
involved in the subject project.
2. Submission of DPR -120 days after receipt of all information / input from Client / various agencies
involved in the subject project.
