Research Title 1:

The Impact of Innovation to Puerto Princesa School of Arts and Trades’

Community-Based Training

Rationale:

In our world today, people embraces technology as part of their daily lives and
innovation became the practices that serve as the ground for the economic growth and
enables different firms to survive. Innovation practices also serve as a path for an
organization’s growth performance.

Community-Based Training is another approach of teaching. It is a training which

develops the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to achieve competency standards.

The purpose of this study is to know the impact of innovation to PPSAT’s

Community-Based Training. The term “impact” is defined to include both the results of
the innovation’s outcomes and the effect of innovation on the Community-Based
Training. Innovation results are difficult to measure. Many researchers use different
ways and metrics to measure the impacts of innovation. In this study, the researcher will
focus on the impacts of innovation in Community-Based Training and will use four
approaches in identifying the impacts of innovation, the Case Study Approach, the
Effect on People Approach, Functional Approach and Structural approach. Through
these four approaches, the researcher can investigate individual innovations and
innovative organizations- case studies: kinds of effects innovations could have on
people within the organization; innovation as a function of community-based training;
and structural- innovation as a tool for adaptation that affects organizational survival.
Research Title 2:

A study on the effect of Integrating Innovation in Community-Based Training on

learning effectiveness and learning satisfaction of the trainees of Puerto Princesa
School of Arts and Trades.

Rationale:

Organizations are changing because the world around them has changed and is
continuing to change. This is where the term “innovation” also takes place.

This study aims to identify the effects of integrating innovation in community-

based training on learning effectiveness and learning satisfaction of the trainees of
PPSAT. The term “integrating innovation in community-based training” is another
approach to a teaching innovation. This is also to know and understand the impact of
integrating innovation in community-based training in the learning effectiveness and
satisfaction of the trainees and also its significant to the institution.

Research Title 3:

A study on factors determining the innovative behavior of the employees of

Puerto Princesa School of Arts and Trades

The need of innovation in an organization is now important for it will also help an
organization to success. Innovative behavior means introducing and applying new
ideas, products, processes, and procedures to person’s work role, work unit, or
organization.

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors determining the innovative
behavior of the employees of Puerto Princesa School of Arts and Trades. This will serve
as a guide and will help human resource management to deal with the employees and
drive them in order to make them involve in innovation.
