A cross-sectional study with convenient sampling
method of mothers who breastfed their 0 to 6-month-
old infants was conducted in October 2016. All
mothers residing in the Jailolo Primary Health Care’s
working area were included. A questionnaire from
World Health Organization Baby-Friendly Hospital 10.42%
Initiative (WHO BFHI) on infant-feeding practice was

used. Questions identifying the baseline
characteristics and family type were added.
