Wade grew up with a love of animals, from his
own dogs and abandoned birds that would fall
out of the backyard tree and need caring for to
the wildlife he so often encountered when in
the African bush. Pursuing veterinary medicine
was an easy decision and he started the degree

However, as Wade moved forward through
