HAND UP let the students' minds grow and learn based on the experiences and the environment
ACTIVITIES they are exposed, learning while discussing, investigating, creating, and discovering with other students to make decisions,
requiring less teacher support and allowing more interactive learning experiences to occur (Cooperstein&Kocevar-Weidinger,
2004).
PAIR WORK Learners work together in pairs to increase the opportunities for learners to use English
in the class. It gives more speaking time, changes the pace of the lesson, takes the spotlight off you and puts it onto the children, to
mix with everyone in the group, gives them a sense of achievement. It allows teacher monitor, move around the class and really listen
to the language they are producing.
GROUP WORK Involve students engaging in short, informal discussions, It is flexible and encourages
discussing any difficulties in understanding, answering a prepared question, defining or giving examples of key concepts, or speculating on what will
happen next in the class. Share ideas or questions that arose within their subgroups.
