2.3 Achievement, Difficulties and Action

1. Achievement of the program:

All Tube Well projects (6) were completed timely with close supervision on the ground.
The six tube well surely helps the less fortunate residents in Zamboanga City especially
in the areas where water is highly needed.

One of the water well was built outside the Masjeed, allowing it to be beneficial to the
Jamaah and the community. Another water well was along the cemetery of a Muslims
grave which allows it to be useful for cleansing the body of the dead which sometimes
people brought to the area not yet cleansed as well for other purposes like ablution,
etc.

2. Difficulties faces during handling the program and action to overcome it:

The nameplate per water system is an issue in Zamboanga, since it is done manually
according to the contractor of the water well. And it is also a bit expensive and takes 3-
5 days per name plate. The option taken was to print it in Manila in an Acrylic Form and
shipped it to Zamboanga all at once, which resolved both challenges.

3. Any changes required during this project and what affect did have on the delivery

The implementer cannot provide accurate GPS Coordinate as it doesn’t shows in the
google map. However, satellite images of the location especially the village are hereby
provided.

Zamboanga City which agreed for a specific budget per water well.
