Awards:
Awards Presentations begin 30 minutes after 1st race of day and run continuously.
University/Collegiate Awards begin at 12:50pm.
The top 10 finishers and the top 3 teams in each race receive awards. Members of the winning teams
on the High School and University/Collegiate Divisions will receive awards.
All awards presentations will take place at the awards stage.

Entry Fees:
College: $200 per Men’s team $200 per Women’s team.
Individual/Unattached College Athletes $30.
Checks made payable to Loyola University Chicago
High School: $150 per Boy’s team $150 per Girl’s team.
$250 for both teams Individual entries $15.
Checks made payable to the Latin School of Chicago
Open Elementary Schools: $50 per Boy’s team $50 per Girl’s team.
Individual Entries $10.
Checks made payable to Lakeshore Athletic Services
Scoring: Top 7 runners will count toward scoring (first 5 score, 6 and 7 displace).
All runners after your seventh finisher will be included in the results.
Results:
The races will be timed and scored by the Chronotrack Timing System. Each competitor is
required to wear a bib on the front of his/her jersey. There will be 2 timing tags placed on
the back of the bib. Copies of results will be posted near the results area. Results will also be
posted on www.lakeshoreathleticservices.com during the event.
Splits: ach mile will be marked and visual clocks will display split times. This pertains to the

Saturday events.
Packets: Team Packets will be available at the Registration Tent – Simonds Drive and Montrose Avenue
Friday, September 28th 2:30pm – 6:00 pm
Saturday, September 29th 7:00am – 10:30am
Entry fee payments can be made in advance or at packet pick up.
Parking:
Team Van and Spectator Parking:
There are two large pay lots in the area:
- North of Wilson Drive, just east of Lakeshore Drive
- North of Montrose Avenue, just west of Simonds Drive
There is also street parking on Simonds Drive and Montrose Avenue
Team Buses:
Park on Lawrence/Wilson Drive – there will be signs indicating this area.
Parking areas will be designated on the site map.
Please note that parking is always limited in the area and we encourage carpooling or
use of public transportation.

Medical:
There will be an ambulance on site as well as athletic trainers in our medical tent.
Ice will be available at the medical tent.
Showers:
There are no shower facilities at Montrose Harbor. There will be portable restrooms and
hand washing stations at the site.
Food/Merchandise: here will be concessions available at the site and commemorative T Shirts available

Host Hotel: he Hampton Inn Chicago North – Loyola Station will serve as the Host Hotel for the

41st Loyola Lakefront Invitational. We have reserved a block of rooms for Friday,
September 28th at $188.10 per double room. Please contact the Host Hotel directly at
312-265-5800 to make a reservation. Reservations must be made 21 days in advance.
Team Gathering/ We encourage all teams to invite your Alumni, Family and Friends to attend the meet and
Alumni & Family Area: cheer your team on at the Lakefront Invitational. Lakeshore Athletic Services can provide
a tent and a designated meeting area at a nominal cost. We will identify each tent with
your school’s name. Please contact the e-mail listed below for rates and to place
a reservation.
