Xella AAC Texas, Inc., located in San
Antonio and San Juan, Texas,
distributes lightweight steel-
reinforced, precast wall panel that
delivers a fast and efficient building
material for solid wall construction.
These vertical and horizontal wall
panels, which can be installed as
exterior non-load bearing walls in
commercial applications or as
firewalls, are intended to respond to
today’s design challenges for
increased energy efficiency, fire
safety, and sound transmission, as
well as increased concern over
construction safety and resultant
libilities. A consequence, exciting
new design applications using Xella
Texas’s AAC, are almost unlimited.
These building components are
made of autoclaved aerated
concrete (AAC), a result of German
research and technological
advanced. Hebel Wall Panels are
designed to increase the speed of
commercial, industrial and
institutional construction and are a
fast and efficient alternative to tilt
wall construction. The panels weigh
1/4 to 1/5 as much as ordinary
concrete and can be safely installed
with smaller and less costly
construction cranes. Hebel Wall
Panels can also be installed in cold
or hot weather, avoiding the major
delays and cost overruns that
plague tilt wall construction.
Hebel Wall Panels are custom-
manufactured in avariety of lengths
and thicknesses to fit your individual
requirements. They offer a true
design and cost advantage by
requiring only a single coat of
stucco or acrylic finish. The Hebel
Wall Panels can be covered with
common textures or a variety of
exciting, new design-oriented
textures and stucco finishes.
