Competence to develop:

The student develops the ability to manage the technical, operative

conceptualization and contextualization of elements that constitute the
models and standards of documentation in the development of software
projects.

Topics to develop:

Unit 1: Documentation in projects of Software - Unit 2: Tests on

projects of software.
Steps, phases of the learning strategy to develop

Learning strategy based on problems (LBP): “Learning based on

problems represents an efficacious and flexible strategy that depending
on what the students do, they can improve the quality of their university
learning in various aspects”. In this way, the LBP helps the student to
develop and work different competencies”. Among these competencies
we have:
• Resolution of problems
• Taking of decisions
• Team work
• Communication skills (argumentation and presentation of
information)
• Development of aptitudes and values: precision, revision,
tolerance.

Activities to develop

Individuals activities:

The individual activity to do is divided in the following activities:

Activity 1: Acknowledgement of the course

Every student must read the course´s syllabus in the environment of

knowledge, enter in the general forum of the course and do a
presentation in front of his/her partners. Students must update
completely the profile of the classroom and revise individually their
personal contact information- including a photograph-. Finally, the
student must do an acknowledgment of the virtual ambiance of the
collaborative learning environment in the classroom.

Activity 2: Crossword

Having previously read the course´s syllabus and the glossary, do a

crossword of the thematic content of the course, use tools such as Visio,
Word, PowerPoint, Ardora, Jclick, online crosswords, etc. It must
contain at least: Name of units, name of course´s chapters, thematics
of each chapter and brief definition based on methodology of concept
maps of each course´s topic. It must be clearly seen the words, their
descriptions or clues.

Activity 3: Glossary

The student finds 3 words that considers important to the topics of the
two units and are not in the glosary. It must add name, technical
definition and bibliographic reference according to APA norms.

Activity 4: Software

The student proposes and sends a software or program in the forum of

collaborative work. It must attach in .rar specifications:

• Developed in any programming language of a recognized or most

used program (Java, C, Visual, etc)
• Connection to data bases preferably mysql, sql, etc.
• Use of various modules or classes

The forum describes:

The objective, functionality of the program, modules contained in it and

a justification on why it will be used along the development of the
course.

Students that belong to a group will select a unique program to manage

which one will be used until the end of the course.

Students will give a name to their software and each one will hand it in
as activity 4.

The expected product is a PDF file labeled with full name

individual activities.
3. General Guidelines for the collaborative work

In collaborative groups, each student will assume a

role, he/she will present a thematic and will discuss
with his/her partners the comprehension and
identification of the problem as a response in the
moment of planning.

Based on this, students will design a strategy and

might be needed. Moreover, sharing the strategy to
be used about the development of suggested work,
this is to create participation, assertive and efficient
discussion by everyone of the participants in the
corresponding collaborative forum to allow the
construction of each one of the proposed products.

While elaborating the strategy and individual and group

activities of the learning process, the student will
assume a role in the collaborative group formed by five
members. Among the roles to be selected by the
collaborative group, the following are recommended:
Roles to
perform by Moderator or leader: Who organizes and observes
the student that proposed assignments are kept. He or she is
in the responsible for handing in the product of the team.
collaborative Collaborator: who is in charge of organizing the
group contributions in the document to be handed. He or she
revises redaction and orthography.
Evaluator: This is the critic who checks that the
contributions being done correspond to the requested
in the integrating guide of activities and agree with the
stipulations stated in analytic signature of evaluation.
Idea man: checks time, contributes with ideas and
asks questions to motivate others to do it as well.
Investigator: leads consultation of bibliographic
material and proposals of investigation.

Dear students, through this information I present to

you the roles that each one of you must assume with
respect to each activity to develop in units 1 and 2
present in forums of collaborative work respectively.
Allow me to remind you that it is needed each student
takes on a role in a way that the collaborative work
does not bring inconvenient to the group.

the final product of the debate, keeps in mind that all

What is plagiarism for the UNAD? Plagiarism is defined

by the dictionary of the Royal Academy as the action
of "copying in the substantial works of others, giving
them as their own." Therefore, plagiarism is a serious
fault: it is the equivalent in the academic field, to theft.
A student who plagiarizes does not take his education
seriously, and does not respect the intellectual work of
others.

There is no small plagiarism. If a student uses any

portion of another person's work, and does not
document their source, they are committing an act of
plagiarism. Now, it is evident that we all have the ideas
of others when presenting ours, and that our
knowledge is based on the knowledge of others. But
when we rely on the work of others, academic honesty
Plagiarism
requires that we explicitly announce the fact that we
policy
are using an external source, either by means of an
appointment or by means of an annotated paraphrase
(these terms will be defined later). When we make an
appointment or a paraphrase, we clearly identify our
source, not only to give recognition to its author, but
so that the reader can refer to the original if he so
wishes.

There are academic circumstances in which,

exceptionally, it is not acceptable to quote or
paraphrase the work of others. For example, if a
teacher assigns his students a task in which it is clearly
requested that students respond using their ideas and
words exclusively, in that case the student should not
appeal to external sources even if they were properly
referenced.
