All lessons in white must be taught. Games in green may be part of a lesson, but can also be used as
centers for extra practice. Blue assessments are placed throughout the unit to provide an idea of when
assessing should occur. Small group and whole group assessments may be given a day on the calendar,
but individual assessments will not. These will have a suggested time to start these assessments, but not
a given time frame as they may take multiple days to complete all students. Number talks that are built
into the district calendar AND the curriculum are in gray. If you are consistently doing the district number
talks, these lessons may be omitted.
