100 cm/diopter = (distance in centimeters you can see perfectly on a meterstick)/1

100 cm / 8.5 dioptres = 11.76

Dioptres in ~Percents~

8.5 = 100

80/100 x 8.5 = 80%

80% = 6.8
70% = 5.95
60% = 5.1
50% = 4.25

Calculating 20/20:

20ft = 6m

I see the 20/20 line from 33cm away (0,33m).

6/0.33 = 18 (is how many times closer I have to be to see the

same line that a person with 20/20 vision can see from 6 meters away.

20x18 = 350

So Anne has 20/360 Vision
