stadium.

The press conference room is located on the ground floor immediately inside the media entrance.
The media tribune, West and East media working areas and media hospitality are located on Level

Supplementary Access Devices (SADs), media information and media gift bags will be distributed
at the media entrance. These items can be collected between 12:00 and 20:00 on MD-1 and
match-day.

Parking

A limited number of parking spaces are available for media in the Red Car Park on the west side of
the stadium (see map).

These spaces are available on MD-1 and match-day. MD-1 parking passes will be distributed on a
first-come, first-served basis. Match-day parking is accessible only with pre-booked and confirmed
parking passes. Parking passes are collected with accreditations at the accreditation centre.

and by the Chiltern Line rail network at Wembley Stadium station. Chiltern Line services leave from
Marylebone Station.

Media Working Area

There will be three media working areas in operation for the UCL Final.

Two existing working areas, each containing approximately 90 working positions, are located
immediately behind the East and West media tribunes. Clear signage will be provided between the
two areas.

An additional media working area consisting of approximately 40 seats has been installed in the
press conference room, located on ground level; on MD-1, access to this area will only be granted
to media with MD-1 Press Conference SADs.

Opening hours are:

MD-1 12.00 – 22.00
MD 12.00 – 3.5 hours after the end of the match

International media should bring their own adapters as all facilities will be equipped with 3-
point UK power plugs. Adapter plugs will not be provided onsite.

4
Media tribune

The media tribune is located on Level M of the stadium. Access is via dedicated lifts from the
Media Entrance.

Media should note that there are two media tribunes, East and West, each with its own media
working area and catering facilities. Access to both tribunes is via the West media working area.

Press conference room

The press conference room is located on the ground floor of the stadium, next to the Media
Entrance. Access for post-match press conferences is via the lifts from the West media working
area.

Media accustomed to working at Wembley Stadium should note that this room will be used for both
MD-1 and post-match press conferences. The normal Wembley match-day press conference room
will not be used.

MD-1 press conferences will be accessible only with a special SAD which will be distributed at the
SAD counter. Separate SADs will be in use for the press conferences of the two teams.

Seated capacity will be fixed at approximately 200 and simultaneous translation equipment will be
provided. No SADs will be required for post-match press conferences.

Access between the press conference room and mixed zone is via Level M.

Press conferences

On MD-1, press conferences will be attended by the head coach and two players of each team.
Post-match press conferences will be held by the head coach only.

The player of the match will be announced via the PA system of the stadium shortly after the final
whistle. The player will be attending the post-match press conference, and will receive a
commemorative plaque on this occasion.

Mixed zone

Access to the post-match mixed zone is with SAD only, and from the East media area.
The mixed zone will be divided into separate sections for TV rights-holders, TV non-rights-holders,
radio and written press. A fenced-off channel will be installed to allow media to access their
designated section easily and quickly.

TVs will be installed in the mixed zone to allow media to follow post-match interviews and press
conferences.

5
Non-rights-holders

Non-rights-holders may have access to MD-1 media activities. Press conference access requires a
MD-1 press conference SAD and camera band for the camera. Pitch access for training sessions
is via the Media lifts and level B1 and a Pitch Training Pass is required.

On match-day, NRHs must deposit their cameras at the welcome desk located at the entrance to
the West media area on Level M. These cameras will be stored in a secure room during the match
and can be collected after the conclusion of the trophy ceremony. NRH personnel will be seated in
seats without desk in the West media tribune. NRHs may access the post-match press conference
and mixed zone (with SAD).

Any NRH who are found to be filming the match and/or conducting live commentary will be
escorted from the stadium immediately.

Access to media activities

Media should note that a special SAD is required for the MD-1 press conferences which will be
distributed at the media entrance.

Only the accreditation is required to attend the open training sessions.

Non-Rights Holder cameras require a MD-1 camera band, in addition to the MD-1 press
conference SAD, in order to get access to the MD-1 Press Conferences.

NRH cameramen need a Pitch Training Pass to access the open training sessions, which can be
collected at the pitch access point next to the photo working area on Level B1.

SADs are also required for the post-match mixed zone. Post-match press conferences do not
require SADs.

SADs will be distributed to media representatives with a confirmed booking.
