grounded network isolated network
In addition to the options line filter and line reactor converters feature an integrated basic interference
suppression circuit. In a grounded network harmonics dissipate to the common PE.
In isolated networks the converters are operated with insulation monitor. To avoid tripping of the
converter by the basic interference suppression circuit it has to be deactivated:
remove the metal clip fixed by two screws in the upper end of the power section!
S150:
¾ in regular operation regenerative energy (i.e. when
decelerating) is fed back to the line by the active infeed
¾ if controlled deceleration is requested in case of line
supply failure as well, an additional braking unit is required

Emergency-Off, category 0 L57
Emergency-off, category 0 for uncontrolled shutdown according to EN 60 204.
The function provides the isolation of the motor from the inverter supply by opening the line contactor;
the controller is bypassed by a safety combination unit according to EN60204-1: the motor coasts to
standstill. Jumpers offer an operation with AC230V or DC24V.

Evaluation unit for PT100 - resistors
¾ Monitoring of up to six sensors.
¾ Limit values can be programmed for each channel.
¾ Measuring channels in two groups with three channels each (i.e. three PT100 in the stator
windings and two PT100 in the motor bearings).
¾ The output relays are integrated in the internal fault and shutdown circuit of the converter.
¾ The customer can additionally access the signals by two separate fault signalling relays.
¾ Two programmable analog outputs (0/4-20 mA rsp. 0/2-10 V) are available for integration into a
higher level control system.
Ground fault monitoring on the output side as a standard for TN line supplies
A ground fault in the output resulting in fault currents (i.e. insulation fault) is identified via overall
current monitoring (vector-addition of three phase currents) and results in a shutdown.
In an isolated network the first ground fault triggers no response.

“restart on the fly“ enables the converter to be switched on while the motor is running
- because it is still coasting
- because of external mechanical power acting on the motor (i.e. fan in piping network).
As response to the on command a frequency matching the actual speed is set; after synchronizing the torque is
enabled and the drive accelerates to the speed setpoint.
In sensorless operation (SLVC) the actual speed is identified automatically by forcing a search current.
The function power ride through forces the drive to regenerative operation. Using the kinetic energy of the rotating masses
the energy fed to the DC-link covers up for internal losses and keeps the drive in operation (short time loss of line supply).

After Power ON “drive 1“ is specified as “not ready for operation“
Alarm messages: “component missing“ and “BiCo-connections to deactivated objects“
Save the BiCo-connections mentioned via p9495=1

INSTALLATION In de-energized condition physically install “drive 1“ and adapt the DRIVE-CLiQ wiring accordingly
After Power ON the new serial number of “drive 1“ is copied to the set-topology (if p9909=1)
Alarm messages: “Object inactive, ready for operation“ and “interrupted BiCo-connection available“

SEQUENCE The request of a new drive data set disables the pulses (p0820, 0821)
The internal deselection of the current drive data set de-energizes motor contactor K4 (r0830)
The feedback “contactor de-energized“ activates the requested data set and energizes K1 (r0830)
After the feedback “contactor K1 energized“ pulses are enabled
For a changeover onto a running motor the function “on the fly“ has to be activated (p1200)
