Executive Director Summary
CHANGES, CHANGES, CHANGES
In life, the more things change, the more they stay the
same, or so the saying goes.
I am pleased and excited to announce that I will NOT
be retiring this year from IDDS!! Most of you have met my
wonderful husband, Carl. Well, we recently talked about the
fact that he thinks that he was (inadvertently) pressuring me
to retire because he had. There are lots of things I still want
to do, such as be here when Dr. Dave Wolf is President of
the IDA in 2021. So, after talking with IDDS President, Dr.
Wayne Kinney, and IDDS President-Elect, Dr. Sarah Herd,
and the IDDS Executive Committee, who wholeheartedly
support my staying, I am letting all of you know that I’m here
for the duration.
I would like to thank the Search Committee: Drs.
Desiree Dimond, Sue Germain, Heather Maupin, and
Bruce Wiland for their enduring support and service. They
have spent countless hours working on this project, but they
are pleased with my decision to stay. They will simply put
this on hold, and then they can spring back into action when
necessary in the future.

upon special request. Each member may access it with a
password that we will give you in a future Member Update
when the 2018 Roster is completed. You can always print a
