APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LECTURER: MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

Dear Sir,

I am writing for any suitable academic position at NUR, . The opportunity to join an academic
career at NUR would be an exciting opportunity that I feel qualified for and fully able to
undertake. Please let me explain briefly about my education and background experience and how
I could contribute to the growth and success of NUR.

Currently I am working at Lahore Leads University, as a Lecturer (Full-Time) from since last
three years.My extra activities included the deptuty advisor MS/Mphill program at Lahore
Leads university.During my study period especially in MBA (Pak-Aims, Pakistan) and MSC
Management (University of Goteborg, Sweden), I closely worked with different national and
multinational organization for instance, Västtrafik, Capio AB, Norman Partners, Life Plan AB,
SKF, SAAB, Warid telecom, Nestle, ChenOne Stores limited, on different research projects.
These Projects were related to the strategic issues, innovation, investments, sustainability,
marketing, strategy formation and implementation, leadership and management role in the
organization, etc. Different software and database, like, Routes, STATA, and SPSS were used to
conduct the research along with to do critical analysis of the data. It was really helpful for me
not only to enhance my skills about how to conduct the research and case studies, but also to
work on different assignments, group projects and work in diversified cross-cultural teams. I
Also workd on the research project of SKF (Jönköping International Business School,
Sweden) on the Strategic management project where the assistance was related to the data
collection and theoretical frameworks, while the research topic was “strategic management and
innovation process and the role of top management in SKF” In addition, over Four years of my
industry (ChenOne Stores Pvt. Ltd. & MCB Bank Pvt. Ltd, Mobilink) at top-notch organization
in Pakistan and teaching experience has developed managerial, leadership and academic skills
that are also required for any academic profession.

What I bring to the position that may be better among candidates is my strong background
education and research experience along with an academic and industry experience in Pakistan
and Europe. Similarly, to work in diversified cross-cultural groups, strong background of
research work on the latest software, strong analytical and communication skills critical
arguments, communication and analytical skills that would be a basis to contribute to the growth
and success of the NUR in the field of academic research and development.
