CHRISTIAN CUEVA

Christian Alberto Cueva Bravo nació en Trujillo-Perú el 23 de noviembre de 1991. Es un deportista internacional que
juega como mediocampista en el Sao Paulo FC de Brasil. Su vida la transcurrió con una familia humilde, cuando cumplió
los dos años se mudó con sus padres a Huamachuco una pequeña ciudad.

A los 17 años la Universidad San Martin ve todo su potencial cuando juega en un amistoso con la selección de
huamachuquina. Luego de su presentación el San Martín lo adoptó trasladándolo a su complejo deportivo Santa Anita
en Lima.

Inicios

En la Universidad de San Martín pudo sacar gran parte del potencial que tenía guardado. Para el año 208 anotó su
primer gol oficial en el torneo profesional ante la Universidad César Vallejo. Esto dio pie para que lo nombraran
campeón nacional y al mismo tiempo logró jugar en la clasificación de la Copa Libertadores del 2009. Con la San Martín
jugó 3 partidos en la Copa Sudamericana y ganó otro título como mejor volante ofensivo del campeonato.

Para principios del año 2013 logró formar parte de la Unión Española de Chile y se consolidó tras derrotar al Colo Colo
1-0. Para la siguiente temporada del mismo año fue traspasado al Rayo Vallecano en la primera división de España. Su
debut fue inigualable derrotando al Atlético de Madrid en la Liga BBVA.

Luego de su gran debut en Europa regresó a Perú donde se prepara a jugar en el Club Alianza Lima, donde toma un
puesto fundamental para el equipo a pesar de no haber ganado en la Copa Libertadores de ese año. Sin embargo en la
Copa América dio todo de sí y fue considerado como un jugador revelación, gracias a ello se pagó un pase directo para
los Diablos Rojos de Toluca e hizo su debut frente al Necaxa tras una victoria de 4-2.

En cuanto a la selección peruana ha participado en diversos partidos de la Sudamericano Sub-20, Copa Kirin y también
en la Copa América 2015 convocado por el mismo Gareca. En las Eliminatorias Rusia 2018 no pudo faltar pero tras un
altercado fue expulsado por mala conducta.

Clubes de Fútbol

Actualmente Cueva pertenece al equipo oficial São Paulo de la serie A brasileña. Debutó el 29 de junio del 2016 frente
al Fluminense ganando 2 a 1. A lo largo de su trayectoria ha pertenecido a diversos equipos tales como Universidad San
Martin – Perú, Universidad César Vallejo – Perú, Unión Española – Chile, Rayo Vallecano – España, Toluca F.C – México y
actualmente el Sao Paulo F.C -Brasil.

Vida Familiar

Christian Cueva mide 1,69 metros de altura y está casado con la bella Pamela López Solórzano. Tienen juntos una hija a
la que llamaron Brianna.

En cuanto a sus padres, Luis Cueva y Maqui Bravo, siempre les ha agradecido por haber influido tanto en su educación
como en su pasión por el fútbol. Con tan solo 14 años comenzó su historia en el fútbol y sus padres fueron siempre el
apoyo que el necesario para lograr sus metas.

Christian Cueva es uno de los jugadores mejor pagados del Perú, que fue un máximo goleador en Europa. El ex Alianza

Christian Alberto Cueva Bravo was born in Trujillo-Peru on November 23, 1991. He is an international athlete who plays
