Proposal Report

Abstract
The present report entails the brief discussion on our requirements and hope from the
proposed workshop in two different soft wares as well as it gives the timings and venue for
the workshop.

Requirements for software training-:


1) AutoCAD

 Teaching all the basic functioning of AutoCAD software


 Teaching 3D modelling in AutoCAD software
 How to prepare simple 3D models such as nut bolts, screw, turbine
plates
 How to prepare advanced 3D models like Turbine, Pump,
Compressor.
 How to prepare different drilling and production equipments such
as Casing, Drill pipe, Mast, Casing Tubing, mud pumps, BOP,
Christmas Tree

 Simple 3D models such as nut bolts, screw, turbine plates

2) Ansys fluent and Meshing

 Teaching all the basic functioning of Ansys software


 How to mesh an object and flow simulation of viscous, laminar,
turbulent, two phase and multiphase flow in pipe.
 Flow simulation with controlled pressure through mud pumps
 Flow simulation with controlled area through pipes/flow line
 Simulation of stress field on casing pipe such as burst and collapse
pressure in wellbore.
 Effect of temperature and pressure on flow velocity of oil and water
 Simulation of fluid flow in drill pipe with specific reservoir condition
 Simulation of turbine rotation in hydro-power station from specific
height. (if possible)

 This will be a workshop of four days in weekends


(Saturday and Sunday)
 Timings for workshop – (9am-12pm) – (lunch break) –
(1pm-4pm) each day
 The workshop will be of 6hours per day
 Venue – PDPU, Raisan Gandhinagar, Gujarat
*(Timings and duration of workshop could be changed as per your requirement)
