The projest proposal is for development of an Integrated Industria!
‘Township at S.FNos. listed vide Annexure. The total area of development is
130.3577 ha (322.12 acres) and total buit up area is reported as 884970 m* to
‘accommodate iniustries that do not atract the provisions of EIA notification
2008. The propoted Integrated Industrial Township wil develop industil plots
‘with infrastructural facities such as. Roads, water supply system, storm water
‘drains, Green Belt development for housing industies Viz., Auto Ancilay,
Electronics and White Goods, Food and Fast Moving Consumer Goods
(FMCG), Ready Bult Factories, and Logistics. Other amenities ke bank, postoffice, tiring centre, primary heath cente, recreational ares viz ret
‘udiorum & exibtion cente and ules ike 110 KVA substation, HT routng
tnaintonance yard and storagtreuseldaposelsysem wil also be developed by
the Developer. The cost of the project Rs.227.96 croves.The industria uits

‘Water requirement of the project during construction phase 150 KLD
which shall be met from the supply of CMWSSB, Total Water requirement for
‘operation phase is 2910.16 KLD which wil be met from CMWSSB.
In the 2010.16 KLD of fresh water utlized, 788.59 KLO will be used for
industrial operations end 2121.87 KLD will be used for domestic purpose, The
quarity of wastewater generated wil be 2407 KLD which incudes 708.73 KLD
of trade efuent generated from industiies proposed to be housed in the
Inlegrated Industrial Township and 1697.26 KLO of domestic sewage. It is
‘expected that 05% of treated sewage! effluent is recovered after loss which
‘accaunts for 2287 KLD and out of 2287 KLD of treated sewage! effvent, 475
LD willbe used for AC make up, 616 KLD willbe used for green belt, 774 KLD
wil be used for gardening by the Industies to be established and 422 KLD will
toe used for Flushing. A dedicated elevated reclaimed water reservoir for theSTATE LEVEL ENVIRONMENT IMPACT ASSESSMENT AUTHORITY
‘storage of ferary treated combined effluent sewage is proposed so as to
‘recycle the same for non potable water fe for flushing, landscape, iigation
‘and AC water make up.
‘The hnalidual industries and the Developer has to provide separately
their own STP and ETP colection, storage and reuse mechanism forthe treated
‘sewage and trade effluent, after satisfying the characteristics by the individual
Industry. The industrial units wil be mandated to provide complete treatment
system for teatment of sewage & trade effuent tothe standards prescribed by
the TNPCB before leting into combined collection, storage, Reuse and Disposal
system,
‘Municipal Solid Waste (400 Kg) generated throughout the construction
Phase and 2.0 Thay generated from the common utities, commercial
‘establishments eto will be cobected and composted in the Organic Waste
Convertor by the Developer.
The non hazardous waste §7.4 Tilay and hazardous waste 2 Tiday
generated by the individual industries will be handled by the respective industry
2s per the Municipal Solid Waste (M & H) Rules 2000 and Hazardous Waste
(Management Handling Trans Boundary Movement) Rules 2008, and as per the
procedure prescribed by TNPCB,
“The power required is of 107 MW with backup power of 2 Nos. DG set of
capacity 1000 KVA each and 1 No. DG set of 1250 KVA,
‘The project activty is covered in 8(b) of the Schedule and fais under ‘81
‘category. As per the amendment dt. 1.12.2009 tothe EIA notification, 2006, the
Industial estate of area less than 500 ha but contain building and construction
projects > 20,000 sq.m and or development area more than 50 ha willbe treated
