AHP was used for determining weights of each indicator

 Stakeholders and experts were consulted
 Individually calculated weights were combined using 3
aggregation methods:
 arithmetic mean (weight is calculated by adding all individual
weights and dividing by the number of individual weights in the set)
 geometric mean (weight is calculated by getting the nth root of the
product of all individual weights where n refers to the number of individual
weights in the set)
 Median (weight is calculated by arranging individual weights in
ascending order and determining the midpoint of the set)

spectral signatures of Philippine agricultural crops.
Fieldwork

Spectral Library
Spectral Calculator

Spectral signatures are characteristic electromagnetic radiation over a range of wavelengths reflected and emitted by every
natural and synthetic object on the earth's surface depending on its chemical composition and physical state.

Some of these spectral signatures are provided at different phenological stages: early vegetation, vegetation, and reproductive
stages.

Crop Intensity

PARMap provides crop intensity maps of temporary crops in the Philippines by consolidating
data from LiDAR, Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), and the
Department of Environment and Natural Resources-National Mapping and Resource
Information Authority (DENR-NAMRIA).

 characterize the phenological profiles of croplands

 classify croplands into cropping intensity and land use classes

Time Series Maps of Vegetation Condition

Index created from 2000-2017

Vegetation Condition Index is a good indicator of the vegetation health for long-term datasets.
Higher values indicate favorable conditions.

Time Series Maps of Temperature Condition

Index created from 2000-2017

Temperature condition index is an indicator of the temperature stress and/or extreme wetness on
vegetation. This is calculated also from long-term data from MODIS. Higher values indicate favorable
conditions.

23
01/12/2017

Time Series Maps of Vegetation Heath Index

created from 2000-2017

Vegetation Health Index (Kogan, 1995) is a measure of the relative health of land vegetation, incorporating elements of VCI
and TCI (therefore, the vegetation signal and the temperature signals). Higher values indicate favorable conditions.
